It was our first time doing anything like this and it felt like it took forever, but I could do a mother garage way faster no that I know what I'm doing. Overall, it was fairly easy, seems to be durable, and looks better than our old floor. We're happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using an epoxy kit. I looked up and followed many tutorials before hand. Prepping the concrete is crucial to getting good results. One box is shown for up to 500 sq ft but that's depending on porosity. It would be smart to get 2 boxes as a lot of other reviews have stated it's just not enough product. We waited until it was a warmer day for curing and the application was really step by step easy to apply. The finished look is nice, no more oil stains and the whole look is just updated.

The Project: 1. 28'x26' (728 sq ft) 16 year old concrete garage floor, 2.5 car garage, normal wear and tear (dirty, cracks, stains, etc ) 2. I am an average to above average DIYer The Application Process 1. First pressure washed garage floor using degreaser/cleaner 2. Waited a full day then used etching and scrub brush and cleaned/rinsed as instructed 3. Waited a full 4 days before applying Rocksolid (drying out period) 4. Vacuumed garage floor before applying Rocksolid 5. Temp during application always below 80 degrees 6. Humidity during application always below 70 percent 7. Based on reviews, used 2x amount of Rocksolid than recommended (one bag per approx 200 sq ft) 8. After first application, waited full day and repeated applying another coat (one bag per 200 sq ft) 9. During second coat, added in anti-skid mixture 10. Applied chips during second coat 11. Waited full day and applied textured clear coat (again using 2x amount recommended) The Results and Observations 1. Prepping/cleaning is probably most important part of whole process 2. Make sure concrete is fully dried and weather conditions (temp and humidity) are within recommended application range before applying Rocksolid 3. Coverage area listed on product is significantly off. Plan on using 2x amount of recommended coverage. I used four 2.5 kits for 728 sq ft and put on 2 coats (2 kits per coat). Basically, one bag (two bags are in a 2.5 kit) covers 200 sq ft. 4. Some bubbles surfaced after each coat, but nothing significant. Bubbles were no bigger than pencil eraser and would pop upon touching. 5. If using chips, no need for anti-skid mixture 6. Use gloves or have wet and dry towels handy when applying Rocksolid 7. Hard to tell if textured clear coat was beneficial following 2 coats of Rocksolid 8. Floor looks really sharp and glossy w/o chips. Chips add texture but reduce gloss and shine 9. Floor is slick w/o chips 10. Roller brushes worked fine. Used one brush per kit (comes w/ 2 brushes) 11. So far Rocksolid has been great. Will update review if product deteriorates with time. 12. Review is 4.5/5. Would be a 5 but coverage is not as specified. Easy to use. Easy to clean up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product looks fantastic, however, it was our first time doing this ourselves so it was a tad difficult to get the hang of it. Another issue is that we already had a ton of stuff in our garage that we had to figure out what to do with.

Like the look, Mocha color we chose looks great. Fairly easy prep. Bought to cover a 2 car garage floor, 465 square feet. Just barely covered, concrete soaked up quite a bit. Bought a second kit, 1 car size to touch up some areas. This on a new house, slab about 6 months old.

the color was different than what the picture shows, not happy at all with how it looked after it dried . I had to buy another kit and do it all over.
