I was skeptical but it's effective
We got this for my friends dogs that I watch. We don't even use the shock feature. Just the buzz sound. I was incredibly skeptical but just the threat of the buzz when we hold up the remote to show them gets them to behave instantly. I'm genuinely shocked.

Not strong enough for some dogs
Does not shock very hard. Both dogs even on 9 shrug it off like it's nothing. Probably fine for dogs that are not very tuff but frenchies don't care the buzz sound is the only thing they pay attention to. We also have electric fence so yes they do respond to the shock when it's correct

love that it worked for exactly what i needed it for. complete inconvenience that batty only lasts upto 2hrs. to much of a hassle have to remove just to charge
