it doesn't come with instructions on how to put it on the door but it does show you how to unlock it.

I purchased a used RV and wanted a new keyed lock replacement. This fit the bill and was an almost exact replacement. I removed the old lock easily. This new lock was a little tricky to install as the deadbolt slide had to be in just the right position for both halves to align. Once aligned it was only a matter of installing the screws. And it worked perfectly. It comes with 4 keys which is great as I promptly spread them out on various key rings and labeled them “camper” No more lost keys. I am very happy with this lock and would definitely recommend it to any camper as a replacement.

easy install, works perfectly. the only reason I didn't give the 5 star reciew is that the handle has a weird texture to it. Every other handle I have used has always been smooth. not sure why this one is textured. other than that, great product for a reasonable price.

this item poor quality once installed when you pull the level to open the door the handle disengages completely from the cylinder inside, leaving you stuck inside RV to be able to step out you will have to disarm completely to get the door open, this door lock is plastic the one I removed from my door is metal. the cylinder has the lip where connects to the handle which is too short which causes the handle to disengage, Did not waste my time returning it I remove the old cylinder from my lock installed it to this new plastic lock got it to work for the meantime, I have plenty experience working with locks I do not recommend

Locking mechanism decective. I was locked inside my rv and I had to call a locksmith to get me out . I paid $280 because the door lock is defectivewith inferior qualityworkmanship

I don't like anything about it. I didn't have it 30 days and it's already broken. I need to return it. What do I need to do about that it's probably been longer than 30 days now, but the door handle has fell apart. The key lock broke off in it and the bottom lock will not turn the bolt. To my camp right now I cannot to do about it

This item is defective. The tab on the inside handle that engages the latch bolt is too short. If you pull the inside handle too hard, it disengages from the latch bolt and the door won't open. Contacted the seller, but got no help. Would not buy this at all.
