The skimmer used the original holes as my old one for attachment. And this skimmer is an improvement over the old one in that the skimmer lid is held in place by 2 tabs. My old one just had a loose lid that often fell off during “cannon ball” practice. Also the retaining holes for the door are flush, making it easy to install. My old one had raised bosses for the door pins that were harder to engage.

A great value. The product shipped quickly and was delivered in good condition. Fit my pool perfectly and installation went smoothly! Strainer basket is a bit smaller than the original and no internal 1 1/2" threads for an adapter. But that's ok.
