Rx Vitamins Phos-Bind Kidney Support Powder for Cats & Dogs, Phosphate Binder Supplement, 35g

My veterinarian recommended this exact product for my cat's kidney disease. I buy it from Walmart because it's $10 cheaper than what my vet sells it for and I can have Walmart deliver it to my front door, which saves me a trip to the vet's office. So far this product has been stabilizing my cat's kidney disease.

The powder is really scent free as my dog eats her food with it on without issues. I just don't like how the powder flies everywhere every time you open the can

My two pups blood test came back with high bun and creatinine levels. We began home cooking their food and using this product. Their follow up blood test showed almost normal levels

Fussy 19 yr old cat w CKD ate her food without even Noticing thankfully! Just received this so shes only been on it one day. My only complaint is there aren't instructions on how much to give her per day. I used one scoop which comes in the jar. Will presume that's correct. Will report back in 6 months when we retest her blood and urine. Praying it helps by not increasing her numbers.

Our Pomeranian was diagnosed with kidney disease 3years ago, she is susceptible to pancreatitis so she wasn't able to eat a kidney diet food because of the high fat content so our vet recommended this to reduce the protein content of her I/D diet dog food. It works. Her kidneys are still working along with fluids given. I don't think we would still have our little Nyla had it not been for the Phos-Bind. I use it every day and am very thankful for it!

bought this for my cat with stage 2 kidney disease. turns out they don't need it just yet but I'll be holding onto it just in case as it's a great resource for when absolutely necessary.

I don't really know for sure if it will help my baby with severe kidney disease….I'm hoping! Her vet ordered phosphorus binding agent from compounding pharmacy but I didn't want to pay their price!

haven't used it very long, cats seem to tolerate it very well, there not easy to fool I put it in their food and they don't detect it other things I've have tried they walk away from there bowls. snippy little cats ,but I love them I have three rescues they found me

She passed before it arrived, so i do not know if it would have help or not.

we only tried this for a week so I can't say if it helped her kidneys but it gave Howly such constipation, she couldn't go for several days and had to be hydrated and given an enema at the vet. very costly for me and upsetting and uncomfortable for her. if you use this product, please make sure your pet gets plenty of watery food and watch for signs of constipation and stop immediately so you don;t go thru what we did
