child was happy with gift
This was a part of the present I included for my Grandson ( 5 y/o) and was as exciting to him as the Mystery Egg, I was happy to see him happy.
My son loved this! Got it for his birthday and one of his buddies said "you're so lucky" lol. He loved the "mystery " idea and that he can lock stuff up in the safe as well. The toys are ok to me but for the whole package and my sons face, it was worth it.
My grandson and I had a blast with this toy. I am going to get others so we can have a blast again!
I surprising was not disappointed in the quality of the products. Surprise toys are what's in right now and she loved it and gets a lot of use out of the safe itself.
My 6 year old loves it, so it gets all but one star. It didn't get the last star due to the quality of the contents that 6 year olds don't care about.
We bought it for $15 on clearance ans it was worth it for some neat little toys. Theyre nothing high end, but acceptabls. But, while they were $15 we fogured we'd grab a second one since there seem to be variations within based on how it's advertised. 2nd safe was EXACT same items. On the plus side, the safes make cute little storage things for knick knacks.
The safe is the best part. Honestly so glad I chose this over the surprise egg, because if I would have paid this much and not had the safe for my kids to play with I would have felt robbed. It says over 30 items but 14 of those items are stickers! And another slime, that isnt already made. The coolest things were the robot and the character and the safe. I think calling it a mystery safe or egg gives the Ryan family the ability to sell a bunch of junk for a high price. I cant wait til my son is no longer interested in this over priced crap!!
Here's my absolute honest review. My kids go through these phases where they love specific things for like 3 days and my wife will buy them everything to do with that thing until our house turns into a retail storefront for whatever it is that the kids are into. This thing is cool until your done opening it. Everything that came with it is gone by now, the safe still remains but I've seen my kids play with it maybe twice since December. For the money there's no real replay value other than the 3 minutes it took to open
The vault/safe is pretty fun for my little one. He likes having it lock and he found a second secret compartment inside. The toys in the mystery bags are often repetitive if you buy from this line of toys. Once all the toys were revealed, this toy lost its charm. I now store his Ryan merchandise in it, but it doesn't have much play value beyond the initial opening.
