Wonderful product. The versatility of being able to run the fan by corded power or battery power is key when this is needed in a situation where you don't have power nearby. Works just as well on battery as it does from a cord. This unit is light weight and efficient in radiating heat to the work area. Great product, well made and hoping it will hold up as well as the construction and convenience initially appear.
the ryobi is great and works great for the money. as for purchasing through Walmart .com I don't recommend it use Amazon. I ordered the item, 2 of the same item, ryobi heaters and received only one!! have called customer support twice and have been told it would be taken care of the first time. the second call I asked for the money be credited back to my card to no avail. order was placed on feb 4,2026 took about 10 days to receive one of the items and here I am!!!!
I have a lot of Ryobi tools and batteries. So it was easy to take a chance on this heater at a reasonable price. I have used it a few times to have some heat in a new basement. I like it. Easy to hookup, it was running for a few hours each time. The battery died, unit shuts off; I replaced the battery and restarted the unit and it was off and running again. How long will it last? I don't know, but it works nice and has a warranty. I can recommend.
This is a great little heater. It works well. The hose included is long enough but it is stiff and hard to work with. It might be fine in warmer weather, but that's not when you need it. Also, since buying on Walmart.com, when filling out the warranty, it would not accept the device since it was purchased elsewhere and not from ryobi or home depot. That's a bummer. If it outlives the 3 year warranty, I may come out ahead. but, if it dies prematurely, that could make this a bad deal. It was about $45 dollars less expensive than purchasing from HD. Over all, the heater is easy to set up and everything needed comes in the box. I had it working in about 10 minutes.
Plain and simple you can't beat this for the money , it heats terrific and ease of use is simple plus you can run it on an 18volt DC Ryobi battery or 120 volt AC line !!
I returned it because I didn't realize that it was for outdoor use. The return process was superb. I took it back to my Walmart. I was 5th in line . It took me 5 minutes. Tracking provided for the return.
Heats up the garage (1.5 car) quickly. I can hardly notice fumes while running and this unit runs quietly! It comes with everything needed to hook up to a propane tank. Excellent light weight heater for the jobsite too.
My Husband loves Ryobi One it does exactly what it says… even though it is very compact it heats our garage very well so he can work out there in the winter… Would highly recommend it ……It runs very quietly %26 easy to use. Patti
This propane Ryobi heater is a great light weight heater! Hook the propane up, turn switch, wait a couple of seconds and heat!! Use your battery or plug it in!
Never received my item from a third party seller named Lumaria in the Walmart app. Says it was shipped but isn't moving. USPS said they never received the package from the shipper and to top it off 2 days later there was fraudulent charges on the same card I used to pay for the item. Coincidence? I think not. Over $1,000 in fraudulent charges. Called Walmart to tell them but they didn't seem to care. Thankfully they at least refunded me for the item I never received but told me the seller was legit. How could the seller be legit when they won't respond to your messages and never shipped out the item I purchased? My first and last time shopping in the Walmart app, I didn't even know I was buying from a 3rd party.
