Don't try it without the hardware.
I loved the look and the convenience of this product. it advertises the two possibilities for hanging: using the hardware provided or hardware-less. The second option appealed to me since I did not want to make holes in my marble tiles or my resin shower (I bought three dispensers for my three showers). There were no instructions as to how to mount the dispensers without the hardware. None whatsoever. So I found some silicone that my contractor recommended and let it cure for a few hours. I filled the dispensers and installed them in my showers and they came crashing down. I then let the silicone cure for more than 24 hours and again I tested the mounting by pulling down on it as hard as I could and it did not move. So I hung them again. But I gather that since the weight was not straight down but also “out” the silicone did not hold and pulled away from the wall. The dispensers broke into multiple pieces. It might be a great product if you want to use the hardware? But don't attempt to install it without the hardware.
