SABRE Dog Spray Protector Dog Deterrent with Belt Clip Maximum Strength

I used my dog spray for the first time today and it worked great! I live in the country where there are no leash laws. I run a lot. I frequently encounter dogs and most of them are friendly, but I have encountered a couple of unsavory types. I bought the spray so that I could feel more confident when I run through certain areas. Today I ran through an area where I always encounter 5 dogs who run after me and show aggression. I sprayed the first dog that approached me and the dog immediately stopped barking and chasing me, and it started licking its nose. It didn't whimper or act like it was hurt. It acted more like it had an itchy nose and was confused what had happened to it. The other dogs stopped chasing me as well when they saw what happened. I feel like the next time I run through that area they will remember me and leave me alone 😊 I feel even more confident using it now that I know what the effects are to the dog. I was worried that it would hurt the dog, but seeing the reaction of the dog today gives me peace of mind that it's safe, and a great way to merely discourage aggressive dogs.

I bought this after being charged by a pit bull while on our evening walk. The dog circled us and growled and snapped at us. We were terrified and totally defenseless until the owner was finally able to call it off. We now feel safer carrying this with us

I find this spray to be a very effective in deterring dogs from approaching me. Yes, sometimes hard to judge the intentions of a dog but this helps me with keeping them from my inner circle.

I have not had to use it but testing it works fine. It is easy to operate, and I like the sturdy container. Great clip on it for clipping onto my running belt.

Walk a 20 lb. terrier mix on a 6 ft. leash. We have been tracked by a pair of coyote at dusk, and attacked by neighbors off-leash pit bull mix (which I clobbered with my walking cane). As these instances developed rapidly without warning, I think I would prefer to have a defense spray that I won't mind getting blow-back spray from.

I would recommend this to older folks or people who dogs themselves that go to parks and go out often with their pet companions. This product is not something that I would use personally but I know people who would. I will gift this to my neighbors who are older and who have a dog with only 3 legs. This will help them and their dog be safe when they venture outdoors. I like that it can deter a dog from doing harm without seriously hurting it.

Okay spray for a 5 foot distance.As long as there is no wind.
