SABRE Personal Alarm with Key Ring, 120dB Alarm, Black

I'm using a lot of public transportation these days. I like having this hanging from my belt or my purse...or even in your hand. You just pull the chain out and two different alarms go off...one then the other. These days it doesn't hurt to have this when out and about I'm glad I found these. 😜

Alarm was purchased for my aging mother who can not move or speak loud when help is needed. The alarm is small enough to wear around her neck on a necklace. She has not had to use it yet, but has tested alarm. She was able to pull pin without difficulty. Alarm was loud enough to be heard in several rooms away from her bedroom and most likely even further. Alarm seems durable and we are both satisfied with the purchase.

Very loud! I think others will hear and hope scarce off a robber.

I knew from other reviews that this wouldn't be that loud. It isn't loud enough to deter a determined attacker. However, loud enough to make an attacker think twice. Not so much loud as it is ear piercing. I recommend this as a first level of defense. This should be accompanied with pepper spray and a conceal carry permit and pistol.

Gave as gifts They haven't commented on their use. But shipping n tracking numbers didn't match up

DID NOT WORK

There is nothing really wrong with this item and maybe I did not read the reviews enough about it but I thought that the round circles on the handle were buttons to activate the alarm. Instead you have to pull the chain very hard to pull out a pin and activate. I wanted to use this as a safety alarm for my grandmother but she could not even pull the pin out. I returned it for another product.
