I put the alarm on my storm door since I like to open the main door to allow in fresh air on nice days. I have two toddlers, one of which has learned not only how to unlock the deadbolt, but also how to open the door. We have also had a burglary right next door. So, having an alarm gives me a greater sense of security knowing my little boys won't sneak out the door without me knowing if I'm working on laundry or dishes, but also that we will be alerted if anyone is trying to enter our house that shouldn't be. Wow! I am extremely impressed. This little alarm is so powerful. My ears are still ringing from how loud it is. I set it up in my son's bedroom window. Installation is so easy. It comes with very strong tape so it literally takes seconds to install it. Once it's on there taped, it's very hard to get it off. The tape is super strong. I definitely recommend!

This alarm has provided my husband and I great peace of mind. We are always afraid our toddler will open our back door and get out without us realizing it. This alarm makes us feel much more comfortable knowing we will be alerted if he opens our back door.

Wow this home security door/window alarm is a must have if you want to feel secure. It is small but it gets the job done. Its really loud and definitely will notify you if someone opens the door or window where the system is located. I setup it up on my front door since we constantly have issues with the screen door unable to lock and I get worried someone will try to open our door. Now I feel safe knowing if someone did try to open the door the alarm would ring. Even my neighbor can hear the chime from her house.

I have been using this item since I received it 2 weeks ago. We installed it over our front door downstairs. I'm upstairs the majority of the time and with the alarm being so loud, I can know of my child slipped outside or if someone else comes inside. It is very helpful to me for this reason. Every time the door upends it makes a very loud ding sound and I can hear it from anywhere in my house. This also works on windows (if you have a teen your worried about sneaking out) or if your worried about someone coming in through the window or any door. I will be purchasing more for my windows. Very pleased with this item!

This device works as it's supposed to, but I wish it had more options for sounds. It would be great for a business or for an entry point that would definitely need an alarm. I put it on my front door because I have a toddler that now can open and unlock doors and wanted to be alerted if she ever went out the front door without my permission.

It is smaller than I expected. It is also really loud, so it would definitely wake anyone up. The chime sound reminds of going into a convenient store. Not really meant to replace home security systems. It could be use merely as a temporary device. It has a chime option on it but because it is very loud it might be better used as a window alarm so I think it would be better on a window than on a door. I only recommend this as a temporary security system.

The battery was bad. So buy some more battery it still did not work. I am returning it back to you for my refund.

First of all, if you put the alarm on the wrong side or don't set it up exactly perfect, it won't work at all. It has to be the perfect distance apart and exactly flush. So if you're door doesn't close evenly, you'll have a problem. Really easy to install. Uses a sticky tape to install. You can't move it or it will lose its sticky texture. I dont see where you can adjust the volume. It says you can, but its not working. So its super loud every time the door opens.

When I purchased this in August I expected it to last awhile. But no, only lasted until today. 7 months later. Also thought there was more than one in the box. My bad for that. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Got the Phillips one and it's still going strong.
