SATA drive file recovery tool
I wish I had this years ago when an external SATA hard drive wouldn't power up. When I took it apart, the hard drive inside the case had a SATA connection. I could have plugged the hard drive into my computer and saved the data. Now I'm using it to recover data on SATA connection hard drives. I did a lot of research on on how to recover files on SATA drives before I chose this one. It had the best reviews. It's a good computer tool to have on hand.

Works as advertised
I had a laptop that started freezing up and diagnostics showed bad spots on the drive. I removed the hard drive from my laptop. Plugged in the Sabrent and then the USB end to a working laptop and it saw the drive. I was able to move off all of my files.

Everything as expected
Works as described!! Helped get my data off an otherwise crashed laptop whose motherboard was fried. This cable helped transport the data in no time! I actually like the packaging it came in and will retain it to store this cable out of harms way. Excellent price and very fast delivery.

Great value
Walmart is really getting to be the place to go for all kinds of things. I used to have to go to techy stores for Computer stuff, I can find almost everything at Walmart now

Much better than the crap I purchased on Ebay.
I purchased this brand Sabrent after I purchased another different brand on ebay and after one month it malfunctioned. This one is excellent and hopefully it will live for long time.

Works with Xbox one.
This works well with my old Xbox One. My old adapter failed to connect when the xbox started up so I would have to unplug and replug it in every time. This one just works.

Fails to operate on 10gbps correctly
Looks like buffer overflow. Falsely advertised. Bad firmware or wrong chip used. Direct from Sabrent, very disappointing.

Does not work
Item connects fine, but no drive connected to it works properly. The same drives that do not work properly using this device work fine when connected directly via SATA cables...
