Not quite as good as the onion sauce I remember as a child on my visits to New York, but far better than anything else commercially available on a hot frankfurter paired with mustard and relish. I put some in a little dish and microwave it for 45 to 60 seconds then add it to hot dogs.

If you ever bought a hotdog from a wagon in the city, or in Queens. These onions will remind you of your childhood. I'm 64 years old and I still remember Artie the hotdog guy. That old man pushed that wagon all over Ridgewood Queens. He had a thriving business because the hotdog tasted so good, it was because of the onions.

Growing up in New York this is a staple for hot dogs and sausages. It was hard to find once I moved south. Thank you Walmart for having it in your stores now.

These are the only onions that I eat. I love this. It reminds me so much of the East Coast born and raised in Manhattan and those dirty water dog hot dog cart have onions like this so very pleased.

I'm from NY and If you love NYC street-cart hot dogs, these onions are perfection. The flavor is sweet, savory, and nostalgic. They instantly upgrade any hot dog or sausage. Super convenient and the jar lasts a good while in the fridge. A must-have for cookouts.

I wish the onions were a little less mushy, but the flavor brings me back to the street vendors in New York. I'm so glad I found this. I will be a repeat buyer.
