Saddle Mate Rugged Buffalo Brown Leather Gun Sling with Padding

My Gun already had an Antique Mossberg Sling System installed on it, so I had to buy a Sling that would come apart in order to install it properly on my Gun.

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. It arrived on time, is excellent quality and I absolutely love the smell of the real leather! This strap will last a very long time!

This sling is perfect for my target rifle. A good sling at a fair price.

The thickness of the leather is really good and is just the right amount. I like the buck pattern pressed into it because there is a lot of detail to it including hair and eyes. This would be ideal in a situation where you have to carry a gun for long periods.

This is a good product for what it is - a $20 sling. The leather is nice and smells good though I wouldn’t say it’s very thick and I don’t know how durable it will be. I am a bit of a leather snob so that plays into it. I think it is good, not great. I’m not sure if I will keep or return it.

It is interesting that they use Buffalo leather (especially since they are likely referring to Bison, not Buffalo). I like that they use a more environmentally friendly tanning process The sling appears to be high quality. Obviously for something like this time will really tell. I think it is pretty poor that there are no instructions or guide or photo showing how to use the product. It is not really clear what the tassels and sliding band are for.

the actual connection between the strap and the pad is a weak threaded affair that I don't believe is robust enough to handle a rifle securely.
