I love the primeval predators collection!
Evolution is something we should be teaching from a young age and Safari LTD gives us that opportunity by having these great toys! Being able to bring the pages of a book to life with these toys really help grasp such a difficult concept. 1000% recommend!

Beautifully Done!
I know that I'm not the only one who really wanted a good Dunkleosteus toy; I've loved the looks of the animal (or the skull at least) ever since I saw its remains at some natural history museums ages ago. Its small wonder that I had to pick up this toy. The paintwork on the toy is excellent, and the sculpt work is really well done as well. This is a toy made so that you can see the intricacies of the various splits and bumps in the Dunkleosteus skull design and how the many pieces of bone comes together to form the jaw of this prehistoric apex predator. One small complaint I do have is with the overall pose of the figure, which depicts the Dunkleosteus with its jaw open, meaning that the upper jaw is leaning back in accordance to the fossil evidence we have for the creature. However, it ends up making the figure look a tad awkward, and exposes the inside of the mouth, an area that could've used more paint details. Overall though, I loved this figure, and I definitely recommend a purchase for anyone that loves the design of this ancestral fish

Background of the fish
The dunkleosteus was fine, although the background should have been maybe a blue see or something. Not so dark that we couldn't see the fish's outline. And maybe some other scenery around it would be good. Otherwise, pretty cool.
