It was really easy to assemble and it's quite beautiful. I wanted it to place on one side of my dining room table. The arms were too high (due to the upward curve at the end of the arm and the length of the table apron which I didn't account for). I was so determined to have this bench at my dining table that I bought a hole saw and used it to make two circles in the apron. Then I sanded the edges of the cuts to make the apron appear to be scalloped. added some touch-up paint and now my bench fits beautifully. It's really beautiful.

Sturdy and attractive bench
This is a nice, sturdy little bench. It goes together easily and the weathered oak finish is very attractive. It's not comfortable - even with a cushion -- but it's the perfect place put on my shoes before heading out the door.

The bench had a strong purple cast.

Overpriced
Worn/chipped parts are red, not brown or gold-ish as pictured. Feels like painted plywood. Not very heavy— returning immediately prior to assembly.
