Unique and stunning table
This table adds the sparkle to the room! This is not a flimsy tv tray. It is a fairly heavy table that sits on a substantial metal base with a black granite top. I have had no problems with it tipping. The rich gold color is gold leaf. It is not a polished brass. You can see the imperfections of the metal underneath the paint which adds character and depth to the piece. It required 12 clear washers that are not included for some reason. They give you the screws and the felt pads for the legs. It was simple to put together but since it is heavy, it was difficult for me to turn it right side up after assembly. The packaging was great and the final product is stunning.
