SAFAVIEH Silva Geometric Glam Metal Headboard, Full, French Silver

we replaced a very old broken caned headboard..the design is clean and open, and doesn't feel overwhelming in the room , even tho it is quite tall/high...because of the open design the color description is very off!..it is described as antique silver..it is really an interesting antiquish green..but since it goes better with my decor than the siver would have, i am happy to give a 5 star rating the headboard has a nice heft to it, it doesn't feel flimsy..so i am looking forward to many years of good use

The headboard is used in the guest room bedroom. It completes the whole room now and I love it! Because it is metal I placed 2 felt tabs behind the upper frame as not to scratch the walls.

Reading people's description of the French Silver....grayish, brownish, greenish led me to choose this color. But only faint brownish/greenish hints. Fairly Nicely welded—substantial size & has good weight to it. Glad it rests higher than normal headboards, since ceiling is high.

The four star rating isn't intended to convey that this is fine furniture, but rather that it is about what I expected for the price. My mother is an interior designer and I inherited her flair for furniture, but unfortunately I am not willing to invest my money in furniture because I move a lot and any nice piece I've ever had is battered and worn within 3 years. I was going for an open lattice headboard to go in front of my window (the only place the bed fits in my current rental), and this does the job. I'm not sure it will latch on to my bed but I think that's a ""me problem"" and not a product issue. The color is not what I expected for the French silver - it's more of a brownish painted looking color with joints that aren't the work of a welding master. Had I seen it in person I might have kept looking, but after weeks of looking the only runner up I could find was the West Elm morroccan headboard for a pretty penny more. So, for the price I paid this is about what I expected and does the job (or at least has, for the past week).

Looks great, but for the price I thought it would be solid metal and not cheap and hollow aluminum.

dented and flimey

This headboard would not fit my full bed frame. I want to return it and be refunded.
