Overall decent table, looks nice. The two black cross frames are only for asthetics and provide limited support. There should be one cross frame on the long side to provide more support.
The first one we bought had some finishing flaws on the wood. Sent it back and ordered a second. It's great. We love it. Looks exactly as shown and is sturdy.
Horrible quality and construction. Love the look but we had to modify it by adding angles in each corner otherwise it would have fallen over within an hour.
Was looking for something small and inexpensive. Pretty sturdy however cheap materials. Looks nice, got it on sale but not worth the original price. Came with a couple of nicks but will do the trick.
I'm writing this review as a warning to others: avoid this coffee table at all costs. I'm extremely dissatisfied with my purchase, and here's why. Firstly, the assembly process was a nightmare. Some of the screws didn't fit the marked points, but I managed to force them in and complete the assembly. I thought that was the end of my troubles, but boy was I wrong. Just a few days after assembling the table, I noticed it was unstable. The legs were bent, and no matter how hard I tried to readjust them, it just wouldn't work. I thought maybe I was being too harsh, but then disaster struck. I placed my laptop on the table, and it broke. The weight was too much for the flimsy legs to handle. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that the edges of the top layer had a brittle and broken texture. The attached images show the poor quality of the wood used. It's clear that the manufacturer cut corners to save costs, resulting in a subpar product. I'm extremely frustrated with the wasted effort and money I spent on this coffee table. I hope the manufacturer takes responsibility for their defective product and provides a full refund. Until then, I would advise others to steer clear of this coffee table and look for better-quality alternatives.
I'm escalating my previous review to warn customers about the extremely poor quality and hazardous design of this coffee table manufactured by Safdie & CO Inc- 39L Brown Reclaimed Wood X Metal Sides which is on display on Walmart online store. Despite being previously rated 0 star by customers, Walmart and the manufacturer continue to display this product, putting households at risk. Not only did it break easily, but it wobbling legs pose a significant risk to households, especially those with children. I didn't bother reading the reviews before purchasing, but after assembling the table, I realized it was a wrong buy. The assembly process was problematic, with screws not fitting the marked points. The table remained unstable, and its legs wouldn't stand firm, no matter how much I tightened the screws. The consequences were alarming: the table fell and broke, and my child was nearly injured. I'm extremely fortunate the situation wasn't worse. Given the potential risks, I strongly urge Walmart and the manufacturer to: 1. Immediately remove this product from their online stores to prevent further accidents and injuries. 2. Conduct a thorough review of quality control process to ensure measures are robust and effective in preventing defective products from reaching customers. To customers: Please avoid purchasing this coffee table at all costs. The risks associated with its unstable legs and poor quality are not worth the potential harm. I hope Walmart and the manufacturer take immediate action to address this issue and prioritize customer safety.
design of this table is bad and it will shake all the time the moment you finish assembling it. The table is too heavy and not enough metals to hold it together. The table top got ripped apart while moving for vacuuming the floor. I wish if I could return this.
The table needs assembly, but I'm a whiz at flat pack! But, once assembled it was wobbly...took it apart and reassembled, same result. Disappointing.
I only used it for a one week and the top of the table snapped off when I picked it up.
Zero stars. The veneer is cheap, the table wobbly and the particle board underneath Soft.
