Best Nicholas Sparks movie ever and I love Nicholas Sparks!

Great movie. My deepest feeling is that it was made in North Carolina at Southport, which is a very unique town.

I've been wanting to see this movie for a while but couldn't find it on Redbox or in stores so it was nice to be able to get it for only $7.50 online from Walmart & shipping was fast.

It was made rigth here in NC around Wilmington, NC to be specific and it is a good family movie , but the ending with make you feel emtional for sure. I wish they made all Nicholas Sparks collection of books into a movie. Really a great author.

Safe haven A young and beautiful woman moves to escape a bad relationship with her physico path detective husband. She escapes to North port, south Carolina and meets this man she is very attracted to. They both fall in love with each other, then out of the blues the woman's husband shows up in North port, south Carolina and tries to hurt the woman because he sees her with another man. Does the woman try to get back with the detective or does the detective husband hurt the other guy as well? In the beginning the girl escapes away to North Port, south Carolina with a new identity. The woman meets this guy named Alex and becomes attracted to him while Alex is also attracted to her. In the middle they fall in love with each other. Then tragedy strikes when her ex husband finds out she is with another man. This is one of the most amazing suspenseful love stories to ever be directed. It kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the movie. It is a very heart touching movie. I liked the ending of the movie because it is very shocking. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes suspenseful love stories.

I've seen Safe Haven at the movies. I've seen the Netflix version. I wanted to have a copy of my own because the "star" of the movie is Southport, NC, where I spend the winter. I wanted to share the movie with friends but the widescreen format is so poor that I was disappointed.
