Safe Haven (Hardcover)

I was very satisfied with my purchase. The book arrived fast and it was exactly as described, in great condition.

I didn't find it at all boring,as some others claimed it was. Although i will say it is not my favorite Nicholas Sparks book,but i found it very intriguing and the ending had an interesting twist that i would have never guessed (and I usually have the end all figured out.) It diffinitely kept me on my toes! Over all it is another great book by Nichaoas Sparks.

Never seen or heard of the movie that the others here have referred to... I loved this book and was very pleased with it... Sparks is a phenominal writer who kept my attention throughout the entire book, which is hard to do... It's not a totally orignal story but the way it is written is what makes it stand out in my opinion!!!

Was an incredible book, I couldn't stop reading it and finished it in 2 days! Though the idea of the book isn't exactly original, the book bares many similarities to Julia Robert's movie "Sleeping with the Enemy". But Sparks did it again, and wrote an amazing novel

I have read every book by this man and I have to say that he did it again. He some how makes every book he writes just as good as the last. He leaves you wanting more. The story is very well writing. If you liked any of his other books then you will like this one as well. I cant wait to see what he writes in the future. Also if you are a sap for love stories then I would also suggest reading some Stephanie Meyers. I am also a huge fan of hers, all of her books are good as well. I hope you choose this book because it is worth it and it is cheaper online than it is in the stores.

Nicholas Sparks rocks! This is just another example of his great writing technique and abilities. The story played out in my mind like a movie as I read. He never disappoints!

This is another wonderful book by Nichloas Sparks.. As with all his other books I've read it grabs your attention and makes you want to read to the end as quick as possible. Interesting twist to the end of the story, very touching..

If you love Nicholas Sparks books you will love this. I could not put down. It was not boring to me at all. I would look forward to every second and minute I could find to read this. He did a great job once again!

It was such a good read, once I started I couldnt put it down. I finished reading the book in 3 days.

Does anyone else see the similarity between "New Haven" and Julia Roberts' movie, "Sleeping With The Enemy"? The typical story, a young woman falls in love with the man of her dreams only to find out that he is controlling, manipulative and abusive. In the movie, Julia Roberts fakes her own death. In the book, Katie/Erin leaves without a trace. What's more, her husband is a police detective. In both works, both women have to continuously look over their shoulders yet at the end, they find their own Prince Charming. Mr. Sparks, I think you must have watched "Sleeping With The Enemy" a few nights before you began writing "Safe Haven". Even though a few elements are different, like the children, the story is still the same. The whole thime I was reading your book, I kept thinking that I've heard this tale before. So, Readers, if you don't have time to read this latest novel, just watch Julia Roberts! It's all the same. I am from the town that this story is set in and I was really left disappointed.
