I was excited to know that this is much better than salt and more environmentally friendly to melt snow. We are trying to add more flowers and shrubs to our yard to improve the look. Also, I have a dog, so knowing this is pet friendly added a bigger bonus. I definitely feel like this ice melter is one of the best solutions to ice driveways and roads during the winter cold months!

I used it on some ice on my patio and it did melt it, but it seemed to take much longer than othe ice melts. The price is quite high. I like the safety for the environment but it did not work as well as I hoped and it was quite pricey. I don't think I would buy it.

We used it on ice in temperatures ranging from 0° to 20° over a 3-day period it did not melt the ice until the sun came out and it warmed up a little bit then it started to slowly melt. At $90 per bag I was expecting high quality, fast ice melting capabilities. This stuff is a rip off.
