Safer Ant & Roach Killer

WORKS!! While you have to put it in EVERY nook and cranny; it does work! We saw significant amount of bugs down within 2 days. We live on a creek, so bugs are always a problem. This helped out quite a bit. And no problem for our dogs!!

I have a 4 pound dog so I try to use safe insect repellent. The “safer brand insect killer is in a powdered form, it looks like boric acid. The full bottle came half full. The container has a lift open Cap on it, it is super easy to use and your hands don't touch anything. I tried it outside on ant mounds. I just shook the bottle to mix popped the cap and gently squeezed. I did not expect fast results but I checked 8 hours later and even dug into the mound and all the ants were dead or they moved out. The container says to dust the powder on surfaces. I'm not sure of that so I'll probably dust it into cracks and corners where my pet doesn't walk.

So good so far. I have appiled this insect killer around my kitchen sink as we have ant problems. I have also applied it around my home indoors, and outdoors, and so far i have not seen any ants or bugs for a few days. It is odorless which is nice. Because I am an astmatic so certian smells sets it off. So far I really like this product. I like the pointy applicator tip as it keeps the stuff from making a big mess, and you can put it in small areas. Like behind or around appliances, along window frames, and more. It is safe to use around people and pets. If used as directed. It kills a variety of crawling insects within 48 hours of contact like cockroaches, ants, bed bugs, and more. It is made from diatomaceous earth, and it has no harmful chemicals. If you have a large infestation it maight take a few days for the insects to make contact with it. After it rains you have to remember to reapply it to replace the diatomaceous earth that washes away.

This is the recommended product for getting rid of crawling bugs. Our crawlers are ants and we are pleased with this product. The only caution I would give is to store it away from food products and in a bag so the powder from the product that was on the outside of the container doesn't get on other things with the potential of getting in mouths of children or household pets.

We got the Safer Brand Ant and Crawling Insect Killer to try out on some ants we have had in our bathroom downstairs. The Safer Brand Ant and Crawling Insect Killer claims that it effectively eliminates a wide variety of crawling insects, including ants, cockroaches, fleas, and bed bugs within 48 hours. The label says the powder feels harmless to humans, but that it is razor sharp to insects. Formulated with diatomaceous earth, this insect killer is OMRI listed, ensuring it is safe for use in organic gardening when used as directed which I am planning to use but have not planted the garden yet it's been too chilly at night still. We have three kids and a dog so I wanted to get something effective that won't harm anyone in our family. There is a spot outside in the driveway that every year they come out I went and put it down this morning but it rained so I will reapply tomorrow. When I put it on one an ant downstairs in the bathroom it stopped for a minute but the crawled off so added some more and then it started to have to fight it's way out so fingers crossed it will do its job I haven't seen any more ants in the bathroom when I checked so that seems like a good sign to me. It is easy to use just pull open and shake the desired amount of the powder where you need it to go and close the lid back up.

I received the "Safer Brand Ant and Crawling Insect Killer" for my honest opinion of the product and I will tell you what I think of it "honestly" as well as I can. First it arrived at a perfect time as I was sitting in my guest bathroom and I saw a small ant crawling up the wall and shouted to my husband, I don't like any type of bugs. That night I sprinkled this Insect Killer around the entire area against the walls , I did this with the little nozzle so there is no mess and I don't even vacuum that close to the walls in that room. I have NOT seen an ANT since so I'd say it's working. I have had bugs and ants coming into my sun room from the sliding glass door (I believe) so I did the same thing in there using the little nozzle so there is no mess and it can't even be seen, as far as that room only time will tell. I have applied under every sink in my home where any bug could come in and hope it stops them in there tracks, since I have done all this I have not seen one ant nor bug so I tend to think it's working. I feel safe enough with this to use in our garden and will as soon as it stops raining ! I am saving what's left for use on our vegetable garden as it's safe and won't harm the veggies in any way. There are NO harmful chemical's or any other added ingredients that will harm a plant , human or animal which is one of the reasons I like it so much. I really love that it has a small tip that can be used to reach small spaces or to go around a room such as I did without making a mess. When used in the out doors I will just shake it very lightly over my plants. If I see any big ant holes they will get a shot of it too and hopefully never make out of their hole. I would suggest if using for your garden maybe put into a different container so you can sprinkle it over and around your plants. So, my bottom line is I like that it has a small nozzle , I love that it's safe and chemical free and I really think it's working as I am writing this review I have not seen an ANT nor a crawling bug in my home. I like products that are chemical free and non toxic to plants. One more thing there is NO odor at all , none at all that's a plus to me I hate products that have a strong horrid smell. Only time will tell, but I do think this Safer Brand Ant and Crawling Insect Killer will be a best seller on the market for it's great qualities.

Great effective product to use. I would recommend this product. Can use it safely around people and pets. I like the fact that it actually works at killing ants and other insects. I tried it out on several ant nests in my yard and went back the next day and the ants were gone. I will continue to use this product in the future. I don't have to worry about harmful chemicals that affect the environment.

I have only had this product for a little over a week. I have used it in my garage and on my porch where I have seen ants. It appears to have slowed them down because I haven't seen as many moving the last couple of days. I haven't used it in the house yet because of the messy white powder. The powder seems to be more of a deterrent than an instant killer. I will update this review in a couple weeks to see if I have totally eliminated the ant problem.

It came in very quickly and we re vacuumed for the pesky ants and sprinkled down the earth. it seems to have had an effect on the downstairs. Our shared yards are just layered with different ants so keeping them out of the house is going to be tricky.

This product deterred some of the seasonal ants I was having a problem with however, because it was a powder it was quite messy. I have seasonal tiny ants that come in through the kitchen window and cabinets. When I applied this product per instructions, in an empty cabinet, I still found powder on my pores and pans. I was hoping by letting it settle overnight before I put my pots and pans away it wouldn't contaminate them but the dust just kicks up. I definitely didn't feel this was safe, especially with all my children and constant cooking. I ended up just vacuuming it all up. It deterred some ants but not all. Maybe other products by this brand are good but I wasn't impressed.
