Very Pleased

charbaby33 March 25, 2014

I am very pleased with this product. The main reason we bought one was because our other one looked awful. I bought this approx 1 month ago for my 18 month old who is my 3rd child. I went online basically just wanting a nice looking car seat for a reasonable price and found this one that not only met my requirements, it came with more. I really appreciate the price for this car seat. It is classy looking, VERY WELL cushioned, and I also really like the side pillows to protect the head. I think my baby really like that as well. It also comes with a cup holder. It was easy to assemble and put in our van. She does seem to sit straight up in it so we were able to angle it down so she can fall asleep in it if she wants. Great product for the money!!!

High Quality and Comfort!

Shak45 May 21, 2015

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the box was the feel and softness of the fabric used. This seat can either be used as a rear-facing for children who are 5-40 lbs. as well as forward-facing for 22-65 lbs. It has a 5-point harness with up-front adjustment, 5 harness heights, and 3 buckle locations for a good fit. It also has a removable cup holder. It's perfect for smaller cars as based on what I read online, you can fit 3 across on one back seat. The seat is slim so it's not bulky and uncomfortable when trying to get in/out of the car. Since the seat has a good height, you can keep your child longer in a 5 point harness. The head rest raises and lowers very easily which allows your child's head to be supported regardless of how tall their head reaches. This seat is a wonderful investment for both the safety and comfort aspect. Being a frequent traveler, comfort is super important to us. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this seat for an infant but it's perfect for a toddler!

Lavender Love is the color of my childrens choice

Safety 1st Guide 65 Sport Convertible Car Seat: I love this car seat. As you can see from the pictures, this car seat can fit a 6 month old – a 2 year old and even a 4 yr old babies and children (with enough room to hold even a older the 4 yr old. In other words it will grow with your child and it gives you peace of mind that they are held firmly in place with the harness They say in Rear-facing: It will fit a child 5-40 lbs and 19-40" tall In Forward-facing: It will fit a child 22-65 lbs and 34-52" tall Which after receiving this car seat I find it to be true It has a 5-point safety harness system adding safety for your child. It all so has a Side impact protection that protects your child even more. Safety is the #1 things that is on all parents minds, And the cup holder is great for a child to take his favorite juice cup along for the trip The colors that they are offered in will make it easier to find the perfect color that is pleasing to your child and for Mom and or dad. Place your order and try one today… A happy customer

Nice product, recommend it

PapaSteve February 17, 2017

Well built, attractive and comfy for our grand daughter. It made more sense to us to buy this seat which allows Avery to use it with the built-in harness until she's 65 pounds than the more expensive model that limits harness use to 50 lbs. She's currently about 40 lbs., so this should last at least 2-3 years, and then we'll likely simply go to a booster seat at reasonable cost. Installing it in our 2015 Mazda 6 did take some patience, but that seems the case for any seat of this type, all having the same basic installation requirements. Read the directions and also watch the Youtube videos on installing this model and others of its type to make things easier.

Love it!!

Applepiepastry March 7, 2014

I love this car seat!! It wasn't too difficult to put together, I set it up without my husband's help. There were a lot of straps and clamps, but after I put it together that car seat didn't move, and that indicates that my daughter will be safe. She also loves it, she's 1 year old and she loves sitting forward so she can see everything. Great car seat.

Excellent

BrownHoback July 14, 2014

I needed a car seat for my 4 month old Granddaughter, and didn't want to spend a fortune for one that had to be replaced every four years. This one had a great price and looked comfy online. Our Granddaughter Loves it and so do we. I did take it in to the fire department to have them help me install it in the car because I am a little rusty at this baby stuff. The Captain was impressed on how tight he was able to get the seat (and it was easy for him to do it) that is important for it not to wiggle. It fits nicely in our 2013 Nissan Altima. For the baby I wish the chest clip was a little more heavy duty feeling in the seat and that the metal locks on the bottom between baby's legs went in together instead of individually.

Great seat for the money

julz12 January 19, 2014

I'm a firm believer in extended rear-facing; children under 4 years old are much safer rear-facing in the event of an accident. This seat will allow my children to rear-face until 40 pounds or 40 inches, whichever comes first, which is a fairly high limit. For the money, you can't get higher height or weight limits for rear-facing. This seat does not have all of the bells and whistles that pricier ones have, but it is well-made, fairly compact & light weight, and comfortable. I now own two of these, one for each of my boys ages (1 and 2) as the younger one just grew out of his Scenera. I appreciate that they're well-made and easy to use. It can be hard to get the correct angle when installing, but a tightly rolled towel placed in the seat bight does the trick for us and is CPST-approved. Don't turn your little ones forward-facing too soon! Get one of these and keep them safe.

Wonderful safe seat for the price

Carriagepushingmomma July 4, 2014

I love how well made and simple this seat is to use. If you read the entire manual and use pool noodles for recline angle, it's a fantastic affordable seat for many children. I cannot give it 5 stars though; the starting harness slots are too high for an infant. Although it is crash tested to begin at 5 lbs, that does not mean a 5 lb newborn will have a high enough shoulder/torso height to fit the harness slots at or below for rear facing. My 2.5 year old is only on the second slot. The capacity to fit tall children is superb, but not infants.

Great for small car

johnandjessica December 21, 2013

This fit very nicely in the backseat of our Honda accord coupe. I picked this carseat because I saw it in store on display and it was the most cushioned carseat I could find for a decent price. The pad actually has a layer of foam in it , it is not simply a cover placed on plastic. The only thing I didn't like it that the pillow is not exactly a pillow. It is hard plastic covered with a foam pad, which I didn't realize until I ordered the carseat online and received it. ( they were out of stock when I found the display in store). After going back and looking at kmart, walmart, and sears, This was still the best choice. I am glad I ordered it and my little girl is much happier on long drives now. Hope this helps.

Not to Happy With It

jennifr80 May 27, 2015

We have another more expensive car seat we use and in comparison, I would not recommend this one. First, there is a large warning tag right on the side where the child's head is. The headrest is difficult to adjust and the leveling system is by visual only (looking at lines on the seat to see if they are straight) and tells you to use a towel to adjust the height of the seat to level it (our other seat has an actual level built in and you manually adjust the bottom accordingly). We had the seat rear-facing and behind the driver seat (my seat) and I could not move my seat back, so we had to put it on the passenger side and now passengers sit uncomfortably. On the plus side, the shoulder straps are easy to adjust and installing the seat was easy as well. Thankfully I have not had to test whether it would hold up in an accident.
