I totally recommend any parent that has toddlers and little ones in thier house to buy these as they are a life saver you can keep your child from opening door to get to places you don't want them to they are very easy to install and come off light weight and easy to clean
My 3 year old wales up before us and wants to play outside, we live close to busy road and am always terrified he will get outside and see the kids across the street and take off running. With these he can't turn the door handle so I don't have to stress anymore!
I used the Safety 1st Grip 'n Twist Door Knob Covers for the front and back door and on both of my bathroom doors. When I'm in the laundry room I'm confident that my 2 year old won't be able to go outside. He tried to turn the door knob but couldn't. I like that they have 4 in a pack. I would recommend them to other toddler moms out there.
With my 3 year old godson running around crazy and wanting to be in everything - the knob covers saved the day so he couldn't go in rooms that had breakable things in them or open the front door of course! Which he wasn't too happy about but I definetly was! Lol
The Safety 1st Grip N Twist Door Knob Cover was pretty easy to install. It took a couple of tries for me to get it open to put it on the door knob. My toddler was not able to open doors to rooms that she was not supposed to be in after it was installed. She did alot of grumbling, pulling, prying, banging on it but she was not able to get it off to open the door. I had something similar to these but my daughter could still open the door & was able to slam the door against the wall & knock the knob cover off. I wish I had found these sooner. Im so thankful for the free sample from Viewpoints.
I'm using it for my 93 year old mom who has dementia. With several doors in our home it helps her to pick the correct door to the bathroom from her bedroom.
I use the product on my daughter bathroom so she won't play in the water. As well the door to my laundry room and backdoor because these are places my toddler do not need to be.
Ii installed these around the home which was much needed being I have an escape artist on the loose. lol With two little ones the youngest being able to unlock the front door when the deadbolts wasn't used. I have like only a few feet of front yard and very close to the street these were much needed and very useful. They are east to install and work great.
I like that I have a peace of mind knowing that the doorknobs are protecting my little one from opening the front door and other rooms that he shouldn't be going into. They are effective as my little one can't get a good grip at the doorknob. Definitely recommend these for safety!
Any parent that has a toddler or small children in the house really needs to invest in these Safety 1st Door Knob Covers. They are easy to install, made from plastic they fit great on my older style door knobs, but did not on my newer style, they keep little hands from twisting the knob and opening the door.
