I have handles on my cabinets and they fit great! I bought them for my cabinets with cleaner and things that need to stay out of reach of little ones. They are easy to remove when needed but are strong enough to stay put when being pulled on by curious ones!
As a first time baby proofer this product was wonderful. The lock was simple to install and was immediately a deterrent to my son gaining access to our kitchen cabinets. This was a relief because our son is quite crafty and had bypassed the locks we had on previously. I would recommend this product to anyone with an inquisitive toddler.
Absolutely amazing I've bought several different products trying to keep my 2 year old out of my cabinets and he could open everything and this is by far the best product that I received and it was absolutely free for testing by the amazing viewpoints and I've done went and bought 4 more packs I definitely recommend this to every family who has the sneaky little toddlers whom may love to get into those cabinets mine likes to hide to scare his mother
This is a really good lock to keep little fingers out of dangerous stuff. Used this for under the sink capinet where we keep cleaning supplies. We used a different one before I got this lock but I like this one a lot better. Curious little guy won't be able to open this anytime soon!
This product is much better than the others we have tried that just go over the knobs. My 18 month old can’t get this off as you actually remove the hardware on one side to install it. It has all rounded edges and no extra plastic hanging out that could poke a little one in the eye like some other brands. The only reason for 4 stars is you really need 2 hands to release it - you have to push the little tab one way and pull the end the opposite direction. Sometimes my thumb hurts from pushing the little tab. It’s definitely effective and the best design i have tried.
They are the best option around if you have round knobs though as they are not permanent like any other locks I've seen, do not require you to drill holes in your cabinets and can move with you if you need to take them with you out of town or to another house. Very sturdy my toddler has yet to get it off and sometimes I have trouble getting it off with one but that outweighs the positive aspects of these cabinet safety locks.
This lock is very easy to install, has a great adjustable fit, and doesn't require Any hardware or permanent modification of your cupboards. And of course, it keeps little ones out of cabinets. The only possibile drawback is it's a little bulky, but the pros definitely outweigh the one con for this lock.
These cabinet locks seem very well-made and sturdy. Unfortunately they don't fit on the hardware throughout our home. The knobs on our cabinets are too big in diameter (the diameter of the opening is approx 3/4"). Additionally, the space between the cabinet face and the knob is not big enough for the "hook" part. This piece requires approx 5/8" in order to hook around the second knob. If these locks had fit, I have no doubt they would have worked well for our household. They are sturdy and well-designed.
First off, I was not impressed with the idea of having to remove the handles on my cabinets. In my house, I would need to remove 17 screws to install these and loosen another 17. It is too time-consuming for a parent of young children especially. Then once on they did not sit nicely against the cabinet. They stuck out from the handles which I just did not like the look of. Had both pieces been more like the open side they might be better, but that would also need to be not so bulky as to be able to lay flat against the door. As far as doing what they were intended, keeping a child out of the cabinet, yes they would work perfectly once installed. I simply feel that a product should be easier for parents to install so as to get the job done quickly rather than have it put off because they don't have the time. No, I would definitely NOT buy these, nor recommend them.
The 2 pack package, came in the mail with the box very smashed, and already opened, and was only containing 1 lock out of the 2.
