Safety 1st Adhesive Magnetic Lock System - 2 Locks and 1 Key, White, Toddler

I attempted this before reading the instructions and that was very silly of my because this kit is designed to be very simple for installation. There is a guide that helps install both the catch and the release lock. It was very easy to set up once following directions. The magnetic lock works great and the key is a nice tool to use to unlock. Overall, it is unique and hides well so I would recommend it to others.

I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. I just received magnetic locks from safety 1st for cabinets. It was a pack of four locks and one magnetic key. Super easy to put on. It took me less than 10 minutes. And work like a charm. It doesn`t unlock without the magnetic key that you can just stick right on your fridge so you don`t lose it. It seriously only works with that magnet. You can`t use like a regular fridge magnet so don`t lose it. Put it really high and always put it back when you`re done because asoms we are super scatterbrained and I already lost mine. Although it says easy install no tools required. I tried it without tools and the adhesive came right off. You definitely need to use the screws that come with it. I`d say 5 out of 5 stars.i mean as long as you don`t lose the key and you have a drill. But you definitely need a drill.

received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. My baby just started crawling so I have been looking for ways to child proof my home. These locks are the perfect solution for easy child proofing. When I first opened the package and looked at the parts and instructions, I immediately panicked and told my husband he would have to install them. He did not so the next day I sat down myself to tackle it. Low and behold once I sat to install, I had the first one completed in under 2 minutes. I did not have to read instructions on any of the subsequent ones and had them all installed in under 1 minute. I love this locking system. It is invisible from the outside of the cabinets which is one of the biggest perks to me. Once installed you can flip the switch on it to lock or unlock. When in lock position you simply tap the enclosed magnet on tthe exterior and can pull the door or drawer open. You can also set it to unlock and open the door as usual. I did not have to screw them into my cabinets which my husband loved. They are backed with a 3m adhesive so will peel off cleanly once we no longer need them. I imagine if you lose the enclosed magnet that any strong magnet would do. I am thrilled that you cannot see the child proofing, I know my child is safe. I can easily switch to unlock if we have company over or will need extended access into a cabinet. The installation was extremely easy and caused no damage to our cabinets. I already have added more to our shopping list so we can add these to our bathroom cabinets as well. We are extremely pleased with this seemingly perfect child proofing locking system.

I love these! They are so incredibly easy to install and even easier to use. The magnet is easy to hold and I'm able to unlock and open with one hand. My only complaint is that my cabinets don't close completely, but it's a small amount, so you can't really notice it.

I was a little disappointed about how hard it was for me to install. I am not the best at installing devices but the instructions, although step by step, could have been more detailed for someone like me. My husband, however, was able to put it together with ease. I love the option of using it for a cabinet or drawer. The magnetic key that comes with it is also very thick and big in size so it will be easier to not lose. Once installed it turned out to be a lifesaver! My almost 2 year old can no longer get into our cabinets. The lock was sturdy enough to keep him out! I am really grateful for this child lock!

So it doesn't work well with my cabinets, but despite that I still gave it four stars. That's because it's super easy to install and use. I mean it's not their fault my cabinet doors are super thick. With as fast a toddlers learn they learn how to open child locks. And this one they can't open.

This product is good and works good for a couple of year like 2 year max before the lock start to move up or down which kind of activates the lock mechanism. Maybe from the kids slapping and opening the cabinets but sometimes I have to double check before closing them. But for having the product for 2 years, and buying some more now, I saw it served us well and makes things nice and neat around the house. Also if you have nosey people who come and live with you or visit you this is also a great way to keep them out of your stuff or business because it makes them think they might have broken the cabinets or they got caught red handed. Hehehe, kids or adults it works great.

These items did arrive and I brought them to work to use to keep the cabinets secure. They seem to be doing fine.

Plus, we always had to explain how to unlock them when friends or family came over. One of the greatest features of these locks is that you can turn them on and off as you like. Additionally, they`re hidden inside our cabinets, so it makes our space much more aesthetically pleasing. The instructions were easy to follow, and the installation template made the process simple. The only complaint I have is that the set only comes with one magnetic `key.` In other words, if you lose it, you`re in trouble. Our children have a knack for making things disappear, so we have to pay close attention and make sure we return the key to our hiding place promptly. Overall, these magnetic locks work great, and I`d recommend them.
