Safety 1st Complete Magnetic Locking System (4 locks, 1 key)

I had reservations about purchasing. I was worried about them fitting our cabinets due to thickness of some of the doors. The packaging says that these work on doors/drawers up to 1.5" thick... any thicker and the magnet will not be strong enough to open the lock. Unfortunately, these did NOT fit some of our cabinets because the door panel frame (as opposed to the inset area) was too narrow. The installation package includes these great stick on templates that help to locate the screw locations. First you stick it to the cabinet frame and drill your holes. Then you close the door and the template sticks to the door in the proper place. The template has a hatched area. If the back of the door has a recessed area (for the center panel), and that recessed area is on the un-hatched area of the template, then you cannot install the lock. The door frame should be at least 1.75", but may be different for different cabinet designs. You would just have to get them and try them out. As far as function - these are great. I love that you can turn them off when they are not needed, and the templates make these very easy to install.

These magnetic cupboard locks are one of the best baby items on the market. Our cupboard are hardwood, so these were a little more difficult to install, but worth every hour you spend putting them in. The kit comes with stick-on paper templates, which makes your job easier. We have a corner turnstile cupboard and only one lock was needed for that. Another great thing is that when the grand kids leave, you can disable the locks. Just be sure you put the magnet up high on your fridge so little ones can't reach it. My grandson is 17 months and he knows how to do it. Also, they can be taken off if you move or want to gift to someone later on. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to protect their little ones and your sanity.

If you have a curious infant....this magnetic lock system is the best for locking cabinet doors.....with this your infantz fingers will never will be caught between the door & cabinet frame. This is the best...very easy to install and user friendly. Incase you want to keep the door open then the lock has a on/off switch too.

Wasn't sure if these would hold up as they cost much less than others I was looking at, but they are really good. I especially like that you can turn them off if you don't need the cabinet to be locked at any time.

After using these I would never use any other kind of child proof device. These are wonderful. They can't even get the door open a little bit. With other kinds our 12 month old would get in the small opening and pull out things. I love this product.

Often things don't work as they are advertised, but this product does. I bought a set of two locks to test out before buying more and have had great results. They work like a charm and it only took a short time to get use to using the key. They also have the added bonus that you don't get your fingers squished like you do with the hook type locks and you can disable the locks whenever you want (e.g. at night after the little ones are in bed). Or not. It's up to you. If you do disable them, just be sure to enable them again before the little ones wake up! :) Overall a great product, very satisfied!

The product was easy to install. I did it myself. What I liked about the magnetic system is that it did not open- not even a little like some of the safety systems. Also I have a son w Down syndrome and this kept him from getting into a cabinet that he was not supposed to. The only this is- remember where you put the key!!!

I used all 8 locks on the cabinets and the drawers the that have items/products that I needed to keep my toddler out of for my peace of mind. These Safety Deluxe Magnetic Locking Systems locks with Key that I have ever come across. I no longer have to worry about my little toddler getting into cabinets or drawers that could possibly be of danger. I can only say this: "what a great concept for all parent who have little ones to keep them safe and give us parents peace of mind."

They took a little bit of expertise to install, but they work great at keeping the kids out of the cabinets. We got two of the smaller packs since the big one only comes with one magnet key, and we wanted one key for the kitchen and one key for the bathroom so we weren't running back and forth trying to access our cabinets.

This was not the item that was sent to me. Walmart outsourced my order to a different company who sent me the wrong item. Be very careful when ordering online from Walmart.
