Safety 1st Décor Safety Essentials Set (46pc), Grey, Toddler

My husband and I are navigating our second year of parenthood with a very busy, nearly-walking 14 month old. He's becoming more curious by the day, and eager to get into cabinets and open doors. The safety essentials set has everything we need, and works on just about everything. We particularly love the door handle protectors and cabinet latches.

I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.This is a great starting kit for baby proofing. With twins, baby proofing was essential for my family since they can get into places so fast while we're occupied with the other toddler it's ridiculous. The doorknob covers installed very easily, and were completely kid-proof. Heck, even my 5 year old nephew couldn't get through them. The latches installed fast, and didn't damage our cabinets. They're also really easy to use, and the guide that came with them was great and made install a breeze. The outlet covers were also really useful and a fast install. I wish it came with 1-2 wall anchors to really cover all your bases, but otherwise it's a perfect set.

We used this kit to babyproof our "grandma" daycare. We needed a kit to make my parents house safe for when they babysit our 17 month old. They love that the plug covers are clear and discrete. The cabinet locks even come with screws which made it so easy.

We now have our third child who is just about to start crawling. We have used this set to replace the plug covers, door covers and cabinet locks that have broken or disappeared over the last 3 years. These are essential to keeping babies and toddlers from getting into things they shouldn't or escaping. I've noticed the plug covers are crystal clear. I can't decide if that is a good thing or a bad thing. Aesthetically they look great but they are so clear I don't see them and keep trying to put one in the outlet, only to get there and see something is already there.

This set comes with clear outlet covers, drawer and cabinet locks so they can't easily be opened and covers for your door knobs so they can not be twisted and opened. There are a total of 46 piece but alot of them are the outlet covers. The outlet covers are clear and the other pieces are grey, very easy to blend in to many decors. Very simple installation but you will need a drill and screw driver.

My daughter was starting to discover cabinets and electric outlets. This product came with everything to baby-proof my house and keep her safe. The quality of the locks and latches is superior and they are easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Every parent should have this! Highly recommend!

A necessity for households with small children! My little one has a learning disability and is incapable of perceiving dangerous acts. Often curiously twisting and tugging at doors, cabinets and drawers. This safety set helps put my mind at ease when they're out of immediate site. Set up was a breeze. Makes a great gift for first time moms as well!

This is a great set for a great price. I love that the knob covers can easily be removed and taken with you on trips or even visits to homes that aren't childproof. This set gives my kids the freedom to roam a bit because I know they won't be in rooms that they shouldn't be in, or sticking things in the outlets. Of course, I always keep a close eye anyways as these aren't the only dangers for young kids, but it is one less thing to stress about. Everything included is great quality and you can tell it will hold up. The only issue I had was attaching the drawer latches, as the screws were small and they had to be lined up well.

There are several things good about all of these safety products but one, the thing that goes on the door knob. I couldn't open the door and my 8 year old grandson couldn't open the door and I felt like in the event of a fire this was not a good idea. I removed it off the door knob. That was my only issue but I felt it was a valid one.

So i thought that this would be a good idea to get to keep my 3 year old daughter out of rooms and drawers she didnt need to be into. But id figured it out in less than 5 minutes. I would not recommend at all kids will make you think that they cant but of buddy they can !
