these worked great for our two little tasmanian devils lol. tthe door knob covers work so well. Now i font have to worry about my babies getting into anything and know they are safe exploring our home
This is a great set of safety essentials! It has everything you need to baby proof. I've actually never seen the door handle covers before, this is huge for me as my 2 year old's bedroom is on the second floor and she just learned how to use a handle so keeping her in her room has been a battle at night. This has definitely slowed her down, it's not as much fun anymore. The latches are easy to install, I did them myself and the outlet covers are so easy yet so important!
Hello, Everyone I'm reviewing an item that I have received, from safety first decor, it is a 46 piece set, has all kinds of stuff in it to help with the babies nails ears nose mouth hair, etc most definitely a good kid to have especially with newborns, and even throughout childhood, I would definitely suggest this item it comes in handy everyday.
So I was looking forward to using this as my 2 year old has figured out how to open the bathroom door in our new house. I have put this on the bathroom door so far and now I am free of her tossing things in the toilet and getting water all over the floor!
This is the perfect set! I've never seen all of the safety baby supplies in one package! This would be a great gift for every new mom. Or just a mom.we had to put a safety handle on our door knob because my son tries to run across the street to papaws house. It's funny watching how many adults don't know how to work this handle. There are locks and outlet covers that are ALWAYS needed! I've never seen outlet covers that don't look like they are there so it is not noticeable. And the gray is a nice touch for the door handle.
The Safety first was a perfect kit for safety set up around the house for a little one coming into the world. The updated set has everything you could need and use. The parts are durable and great set to give as a gift. The parts were a modern gray color which was classy !
This set comes with clear outlet covers, drawer and cabinet locks so they can't easily be opened and covers for your door knobs so they can not be twisted and opened. There are a total of 46 piece but alot of them are the outlet covers. The outlet covers are clear and the other pieces are grey, very easy to blend in to many decors. Very simple installation but you will need a drill and screw driver.
While I never had to use one of these for our first two kids, I really felt like we needed one for our third child as she gets into everything! My only complaint is that, yes, it does require screws to be installed for the cabinet latches, but they are relatively small. This set comes with everything you need to be able to babyproof your home! Door knob handles, cabinet latches, outlet plugs, you name it! Please do yourself or someone who is expecting a favor and buy a kit like this!
There are several things good about all of these safety products but one, the thing that goes on the door knob. I couldn't open the door and my 8 year old grandson couldn't open the door and I felt like in the event of a fire this was not a good idea. I removed it off the door knob. That was my only issue but I felt it was a valid one.
This set has plenty of pieces - most of which are electrical outlet pieces, and it does what it says it does. My problem is two fold: first, not all pieces fit quite right, and second...this mostly doesn't feel necessary. For the first - the drawer and doorknob things don't fit quite right, and are mostly useless. I'm not even sure what benefit I would gain from having the thing on a doorknob - seems like a locking knob, or an additional lock higher up would do a better job than this. My second issue is that I don't think these are necessary, and they can quite possible make certain things more interesting to a toddler. A little smooth plastic thing may be mostly invisible, but when little fingers feel how smooth it is, they want to touch it, feel it, pull it...and suddenly they're spending more time by a power outlet than you'd want them to be. Overall, I wouldn't get these again. To me, it feels like it's for a different type of parents (or maybe first time parents) that want to make sure they're doing everything right, rather than just watching and enjoying their child, regardless of what marketing says you should have.
