Safety 1st Everslim DLX Convertible Car Seat

The EverSlim All-in-One Convertible car seat is amazing. It was easy to install. I love how it'll grow with baby which means this is basically all we will need for several years to come. Kiddo seems to like it! We take long car trips, so a comfortable car seat was a must!

This is such an amazing car seat!!! My son is 2 and it's perfect for him. I love the different settings that you can change as they grow he's forward facing now. In a couple years he will b ready for the booster seat it came with. Such great features for your little ones no matter there size!

Love everything about it. Slim easy to install

I received the The EverSlim All-in-One Convertible car seat for free in exchange for a review. The car seat installed fairly quickly but was tricky at points. While it is secured in the car, it's not as snug as my Graco car seat in my wife's car, which is really the only reason its not 5 stars. I really like the magnetic harness and the cushioning is really nice. The first trip my kid was in the car seat was a 6 hour car ride in which he slept a majority of it. Thank you Everslim! The car seat doesn't take up a ton of space in the back seat, still allowing two other adults to sit in the rear.

Our main car seat is the Graco 4ever DLX so I was very excited to see how this compared and was very pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable for my child and I like the two different style cup holders it comes with. I think the only difficulty we found was trying to adjust the bottoms belt buckle. In order to adjust it, you'd have to unstrap and undo the entire cloth seating attachment. Other than that, functionality and comfort are very comparable to that of our Graco at a cheaper cost!

I got this car seat to review, and so I had already been using a car seat that makes for a good comparison! For reference, my other car seat is the Britax One4Life. The good: The cushions are machine washable and dryable! The cupholders are dishwasher safe! Car seats aren't the easiest to wash because you're constantly using them (and can't go without), so that is a GREAT feature! It's relatively compact both side-to-side and front-to-back. The front-to-back size is a big benefit in my small car (Audi A3), particularly since both my husband and I are tall. The level of cushioning seems on par with the Britax and more cushioned than a few seats my friends have had - very impressed there. The OK: The magnetic chest clip is really easy to clip, but harder than most to unclip. This is great if you have an escape artist or if you have a child who loves to do it themselves! But might be hard for someone with any hand weakness or arthritis. The manual says the head and body pillows have to be used together, but it does not say when to move them. The not-so-good: First, it only rear faces to 40 lbs. With most recommendations saying to rear face until age 4, it is unlikely with my 90th+ percentile child we would make it there. Were I buying, that would be a dealbreaker (but not a big thing for smaller children). The seat is heavy, but has no outside handle. It would be difficult to travel with or to move between cars. The installation was not tremendously difficult, but there's a lot of routing straps/seat belts through places you can't see and difficult tightening with the LATCH strap. I am pleased with my installation but it was way more difficult than the Britax installation. I would hate to do it if I had to install it repeatedly. Moving the crotch buckle isn't something you have to do often, but you have to fully remove the back of the seat to be able to do it.

We have a small car, in a small 3 car garage shared with other people in our building in the city. For these reasons (and an eventual second child), my husband and I are both THRILLED with the slimmer footprint of this car seat! It's comfortable for my daughter, and has enough features that we don't feel we are missing anything despite it being a bit smaller! I would definitely recommend this seat to any friends and family looking for a new seat, especially those with smaller cars, or another seat already in their car.

This is a beautiful car seat. The material is soft and comfortable for baby, but feels durable too. It also comes with both a snack holder and a drink holder. I installed it immediately and was super easy to install in my Mazda SUV. It is a little bulkier than most "slim" models and the placement of the cups makes it stick out further. Also, the magnetic buckle is a little more complex than I would like. It snaps into place perfectly but opening it is much harder. You have squeeze the buttons on the side HARD and at the same time pull open with both hands. Other than that, it's durable and the fact that it turns into a booster later on is amazing.

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have car seats from $50 to $300. This is the worst one I've tried. It's very frustrating to install. It's nearly impossible to get it tight enough where it doesn't slide. It's extremely heavy, so not one you'd want to have to move often. I like that it has snack cups and cup holders with it, it's well cushioned. But the cushioning is a little much if your child is bigger. It took about 20 minutes to install where it was tight enough for my liking…I would not recommend.

Terrible car seat stay at a reclined angle very uncomfortable
