It’s awesome to be able to buy just the base for grandparents, babysitters, etc

So first I was surprised at the fact that everything just works right out of the box. No need to find extra pieces in boxes, or having to figure out how to attach any extra pieces, it just works. Once you have the base put in the car, the seat just drops right in and when you need to take it out, just a simple pull and boom you're on the go! Not only is it easy to use, but is modular so as your baby grows, so will the car seat...i dont mean literally but you can adjust it easily for a growing baby. Everyone who saw this car seat loved it and how easy it is to use.

This base is surprisingly lightweight & somewhat easy to use once you get used to the latches. Depending on the type of seat in your vehicle it might need a little help for fitting similar to others. I laid a towel over the seat before installing and did the trick. If you have a smaller vehicle beware this is wider & bulkier than expected. I like that it can adjust positions but would appreciate more selections. It's affordable & works well. Just make sure it works with your car seat before you purchase. It has limited compatible options.

I DO NOT recommend this base. We got it with the monbebe travel system (love the carseat and stroller) and purchased a second base so we could have one in each vehicle. BOTH bases were installed by a certified carseat safety tech from our local police department. BOTH bases broke! I called and they sent us replacements and said the way it broke was caused by "over tightening" even though both still wiggled. When I asked why should I trust the new bases to not break and be safe I was told "well we don't expect that to happen but if it does they'll be under warranty" as if the warranty makes up for my baby being in a dangerous carseat. PLUS it took over a week to get the new bases so we had to get a new carseat in the meantime and no compensation was offered.
