it looks and feels like you would push the button to unlock but you squeeze the top and bottom to unlock it is very secure and good quality it is for my grandson and it even fooled my grown kids and it took them a minute to figure it out lol it's good for refrigerators deep freezers cabinets drawers you can use it on pretty much anything I will be getting some more

This works on cabinets too! My 1 year old is really strong and he tugs with his whole body weight and adhesive does not give way. They are very expensive and I don't feel they should cost $10 each!

We don't have toddlers, but we were having trouble with a rollout cupboard that came open on turns. The latch just wouldn't hold it. The Velcro strap solution a previous owner had installed wore out, and a stronger magnetic latch wasn't doing the trick either. This toddler proofing was easy to install, and it's now keep the cupboard closed when we're underway.

We use this to keep our toddler out of our pantry. It works great. The adhesive has kept up. We'll definitely be purchasing more for more areas in our house.

we have these on our refrigerator and our drawers in the kitchen, they are great for anything that sneaky kids try to get into that they shouldn't be. our daughter was opening the fridge and pulling the vegetable drawers out just enough to where the fridge wouldn't close back and that could be a big problem and make us lose all our food in there, with this she knows what it is but doesn't know how to use it so i definitely recommend these!

We just love these … they go any where .. if you need to take it off just get a blow dryer and heat it up comes right off with out messing walls up .. such a valuable piece of mind safety lock ..

My grandsons, 3 and 4, can climb like monkeys. They learned if they stand on the band in between, if it's horizontal, the adhesive gives way.

It takes a super long time to charge so don't thin you will be able to use once it arrives other than that it is very easy to use

Buy adhesive bc this doesn't stick. Tried using it on chest freezer and sticky tape that comes with it is ineffective and the straps keeps falling off.
