Purchased this base for my husbands truck..easy install and car seat attached with no hassle

Infant car seat bases are such an underrated luxury to me! Thankfully, this one was so easy to install (thanks, husband!) and we were on our way! We installed the extra base in my husband's truck and although he has somewhat narrow truck seats, in my opinion, this base fit perfectly. I loved that, unlike previous brands we've used, when the infant seat was clipped into the base, I didn't have to move the front seat forward - everything fit! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat base.

I recieved the onBoard Insta-LATCH DLX Infant Car Seat Base as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel. I'm very pleased with this car seat base. The base has 3 different ways it can be secured. I tried the hooks and using the shoulder lap belt. Both were straight forward to attach, took little time to do, and the base was very secure using either method. The height is easy to adjust, and the visual installation indicator is easy to see and understand. It helps give the piece of mind I need to know my son is in the right position. Then seat clicks easily into place. I feel confident that the base is secure.

This infant car seat base was extremely easy to install. The visual installation indicator made me confident in having it placed correctly with the car's latch system. The indicator is my favorite feature of the base for this very reason, I tend to worry about human error with installing carseats, but this helped put my mind at ease. The base allows for either the seat belt or latch system to be used to secure it. The instructions were straight forward, which I appreciate. We put this extra base in my husband's car so we can easily switch between my car or his while using the same infant carseat. The onBoard35 SecureTech Infant Car Seat Base is a great addition to our second vehicle and had some great features we loved! The instructions were clear and easy. The anchor straps self tighten which makes installing it a breeze, especially for someone like me who struggles to push down other bases to get them secure. The indicator light is also a great safety feature, it turns green to indicate the seat is installed correctly- this definitely gave me peace of mind knowing I had done it correctly. The only issue I ran into is this car seat is a bit bulkier and therefore was more difficult to fit 3 across in my husband's truck. It worked great for my 3 row mid size SUV. I received this base (and car seat) to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I installed one in my car and one in my husband's in less than 10 minutes! The retractable lower anchor latch belts with visual installation indicators made installation fast and secure. The release lever helps assure a tight fit so the base doesn't move. This base is super easy to take out of my car and move to my mom's on days that she is watching my baby! There is a piece in the bottom of the base that can pop down to help level the base on the seat if needed. This was great, but it would be helpful to have a level or a better indicator to help level the seat ON the base. There is a sticker on the car seat itself to visually help level the system, but I had to use the level app on my phone to be able to make sure everything was appropriate. Overall, this is a great base for every day use and would be easy to travel with!
