Being a first time mom , found this infant car seat base very useful , it was very easy to install. The light indicators provided are really helpful to know if the car seat is adjusted well to the base . We loved that it came with an extra base that we could install in our second car . It became hassle less to switch between cars or to just use one car . The last but not the least , the quality of this base , it is medium weight and really well made . It beats most of the others we have seen in the marketplace. I would definitely recommend this.. I received the product through the Stellar testing panel !

Thanks to the generosity of the Stellar product testing panel, I was given this base to test at no cost to me. This extra base is light and incredibly easy to install with the latch system. It is financially friendly, and just as easy to install and safe as other car seat systems I have tried. The indicators are dummy proof, and meant for even the most naïve of parents. I can highly recommend this bass for quick and easy installation for varying vehicles.

It was incredibly easy to install and the visual indicators made it so I could make sure it was installed correctly and keeps my baby secure and at a safe angle. Convenience - We used this extra base in my husband's car. Having a second base makes it super convenient for our family because we switch up drop off/pick up from daycare, and we leave the car seat with our baby at daycare. Cons - None so far! The best part of this car seat base is the convenience. Once it's installed, it is so quick to just click her seat in and out quickly and easily.

I used the latch system for installation. I also liked the locking mechanism to lock the latch system in place once it's installed and I love that there's no straps to pull. I received this car seat base free of charge through the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. PRO:  the latch on the base is extremely easy to install and includes a sort of "fool proof" way for parents to check tightness, even after install. There is a locking mechanism in the base which can be used with the latch or seatbelt which can help ensure a tight install through the use of the seat (both great safety features). The base is part of a car seat combo that's at a compelling price point. CON:  The biggest and most important con for me is that the seat itself didn't settle in properly to the base, and I had to work to make sure the seat was properly locked into the car seat base before I drove the car - I feel like this would be very frustrating (or worse, completely undetected until there was an accident and the car seat was not properly restrained) for new parents.  I also prefer a better level indicator on the base and I found this seat to be longer than other seats (harder to fit in a sm. car)... but these two things are secondary to the seat not locking correctly into the base. Overall, I appreciate the easy install with the red/green tightness indicator, but I'm very concerned about the seat clicking into the base properly.  While this may be a good option for parents who need the removable infant seat option at an affordable price point, I encourage most parents to skip this seat and invest in a convertible car seat - you will get more for your money over the life of the seat, and you won't have to deal with the seat being clicked into the vehicle at all. 

The onBoard35 SecureTech Infant Car Seat Base is a great addition to our second vehicle and had some great features we loved! The instructions were clear and easy. The anchor straps self tighten which makes installing it a breeze, especially for someone like me who struggles to push down other bases to get them secure. The indicator light is also a great safety feature, it turns green to indicate the seat is installed correctly- this definitely gave me peace of mind knowing I had done it correctly. The only issue I ran into is this car seat is a bit bulkier and therefore was more difficult to fit 3 across in my husband's truck. It worked great for my 3 row mid size SUV.
