Safety 1st Simple Pass Walk-Through Gate, Grey

I love this gate! It is a pressurized gate and it comes with the pieces to secure it to the wall. I feel as though the pressure is enough without having to stick or drill the securing piece to the wall though. It has a double button to push to open which makes it difficult for little hands, my two year old figured out most gates/locks but almost three now hasn't figured this one out yet. It also has a extra optional lock at the bottom to prevent it from opening. Another great feature is that it can swing open either way! Most gates only open one way. It was easy to put together and has extra pieces incase the doorway is a little wider. Definitely recommend this gate!

We use this gate to keep the kids from tumbling down our stairs and it works perfectly. It swings open and latches closed and has a button you have to press to open it. Overall I would reccomend this to a friend. This is a great item for those with children.

We got this to block off our kids hallway. It looks nice and seems to be pretty good quality. Installation was easy Peezy. The latch isn't difficult for us to open but it's difficult enough to where our kids can't open it, which is The whole point of using it. I would recommend

Overall, I do like this baby gate. I love the gray color that is modern and blends in with a lot of my decor. It was relatively easy to assemble, though it took a lot of hand strength to tighten the top. As I was assembling it, I realized I was missing the end cap that I had to put the extension piece into. However, I was still able to get the gate up and assembled, but I think if I were missing more than one end cap I would not be able to make it work. It was easy to make wider using the extension pieces (needed for the bottom of my stairway.) I wish that the pressure part was a bit higher up on the side of the gate because it's butting up against the shoe molding on my walls and I'm not sure it will stay where it is. I didn't screw the wall caps into the wall because I don't think this one will permanently stay there because it's just not tall enough to reliably keep my dogs down in the basement when visitors come through the front door. I'll probably move it to my daughter's bedroom. For the latch, I love the squeeze button that works with pushing the top button forward. It's fairly easy to do (although neither of my kids can do it themselves) and I like that it's labeled for guests. Guests are always confused by all the baby gates in my house. At least this one is self-explanatory. I also like that there is a pressure indicator so you know when it's properly installed (I definitely would not have tightened it so much without one!) I do like that it has swing stops but they can fall down at inconvenient times when you're trying to close the gate.

I have been looking for a gate that I can use in different areas of my home and this one by for my Safety 1st was the perfect choice. The grey color of the gate is very nice and it looks great in any area of my home. Putting this gate up is super easy and it requires no tools. I love that this gate is a pressure mounted gate so it does not have to be permanently attached and can go up and down when needed. This gate leaves no marks behind when it is taking down. It fits a variety of areas; you just simply tighten the wall cups to make it fit your space. The visual red indicator is awesome as it lets you know if the gate is unlatched or not pressurized correctly. This gate appears very well made, it is extremely sturdy. I love being able to just walk through the gate and the auto close feature is super convenient. The securetech indicator lets you know that the gate is securely closed by showing the green lock symbol. This gate is very lightweight and portable so it is great to take with you if you need to visit family or friends. If you are looking for a high quality gate, I definitely recommend this one by Safety 1st! This would also make a great baby shower gift!

Ok so I have tried many baby gates. I have four children, and have been using them for a while and after each child I would always look for something better. We have dealt with the ones that just fall if barely touched and climbing over others to get through and even falling through a few. This gate is better and so far best. It's an easy setup. Comes with all hardware needed and didn't take much time at all to have it out the box and set up. You can easily open the latch and walk through rather than trying to jump or crossover it risking getting hurt or falling over it. We have set it up between the kitchen entryway so we can safely cook and avoid any accident with my 2 toddlers running around. My husband and I both love it and will definitely get another for the stairwells.

This is a nice sturdy gate. It was average easy to install. The gray color is modern and looks like it will last a long time. We will be using to keep our dog out of the kitchen while we eat! It included pads and screws to mount into a wall which would be necessary for children!

The Safety 1st Simple Pass Walk-Through Gate is a well-made, sturdy gate that is simple to set up. I like that this gate can be used for a variety of needs. In our case, it's for my young daughter's room on the top of our stair landing. This gate is easy for parents to use, but also provides a locked security for the little ones. Definitely good for peace of mind. This gate would also be good for pets. I recommend!

This baby gate is very well made and sturdy. The latch is well designed and fairly easy to use for an adult. The gate opens freely and can be adjusted to open only one direction. The only thing I can didn't like was that it was somewhat difficult to install. The instructions were easy to follow, however you need a lot of hand strength to be able to tighten the bolts enough. It is designed to fit VERY snugly. I would not recommend installing against drywall as it will probably poke a hole in it from the required pressure to install it correctly. A wooden door frame is ideal.

Gate is very easy to install.Gate is very sturdy.The only thing I have a problem with is the spacingbof the bars.I wish they had some gates with bars closer together.I purchased the gate to keep my 5 month old Maltese/chihuahua out of a bedroom.She just walks right thru the bars Lol.I had to weave cardboard thru the bars till she gets a little bigger.
