Safety 1st simple scan Forehead Thermometer is easy to use. I waited a couple of days before writing my review to make sure I got all the props and cons of this item. I have more props. No cons. I'm very happy with this thermometer. I have four children and I'm on the go. With Covid we have to do a lot of daily temperature checks. This thermometer makes it easy and fast. I don't have to worry about changing covers or wipes the thermometer down between uses. If no temperature a happy face appears in the bottom left hand corner. Turn on the temperature by touching the white button wait for the three beeps, move the thermometer close to the forehead to take the temperature. Busy a busy parent sometimes forget to the things off. This thermometer will turn off on its own to save the batteries. With this time of Covid it's also easy to use on multiple children for daily health screens for school when out changing covers between temperature scans.

I wish I had this with my first child. Because reading his temperature with a regular thermometer was so hard to keep her still . But with my second child I had a faster temperature . Unfortunately he got a fever bc of teething the week after I got this thermometer but I was glad I had it to make that horrible day much easier to keep track of his temperature

I feel so much better having this thermometer because I can check her temperature anytime without getting her upset PLUS it's super accurate. Mom win!

Wow, this thermometer is awesome! I've used it twice already on both of my kids! The accuracy is perfect. No issues at all while using it. Very much need during the pandemic! I will definitely be recommending this product to my family and friends!!

I love how reliable this is and how quick it is! It's also super convenient to use on food and bath water!

Easy to use

Our one year old just developed a slight fever and was pulling at his ears frequently. Using the otoscope, I was able to clearly see that his ears were clean and not infected, and gave him something to chew on to ease his now-determined new teeth coming in! Thank you for saving us a trip to the doctors! His one year checkup was a week away anyways, which confirmed the tooth as it was protruding by then.

This is an amazing gadget that gave me peace of mind! Whenever my first child would get fevers I never knew if it was because of the flu or an ear infection. Now with my second child I'm able to check his ears when a fever arises to know if his ears are red or not and how serious the situation is. I would highly recommend it to all parents of small kids.

Asking your kid to sit still is the hardest thing. Taking a temp reading normally means someone feels sick or getting sick. Teens and adults can communicate how they feel but for babies and toddlers it can be very difficult. We've owned 2 other brand name forehead scanners. One that you had to slide across the forehead and one that you placed one inch away just like the Simple Scan. They all seem to read very similar. Some have better features than others. For the Simple Scan, I think that it picks up temps pretty quickly, roughly 3/4 seconds. I like that it's very simple. You can pick it up in the dark and check your child's temps easily. I also like that there's a quiet feature so it doesn't wake up the kiddos. It's a great idea to have the no contact feature, sometimes children feel scared and believe taking temps is like getting shots. The Simple Scan can help take away the fear, especially if you allow your child to take your temps. Even they can properly scan your forehead.
