I am a 70-year-old female and I purchased the Handrail because it did not need to be grounded and I wanted to install it myself. I removed one Paverstone, removed the dirt, and knew I had a layer of Chattahoochee on top of a four inch slab of concrete. I purchased the 6 inch surface mounts for the rail and I bought six 2 1/2 inch red head bolts from HD. 3 for each surface mount. I drilled down after marking the Chattahoochee doing one mount at a time. I placed the rail in the first mount to mark the second one. I Finished drilling, vacuumed out the holes, hammered down the bolts and tighten them and in less than 30 minutes I was finished. Great product.
