Sahlen Dogs %26 Bimbo Buns are Awesome!
So I have been eating BLAH hot dogs for years for a cheap meal. Then I was invited to a picnic and had a Sahlens tender casing hot dog and LOVED THEM... like a favorite tasting meal. Even a raw dog is like that old fashioned balogna that came in a casing. These dogs are LONG, they are great with soft Bimbo hot dog buns! Two dogs take three buns!

Good flavor not too greasy.
I only rate less than 5 because the casing is less than "tender" when steamed or baked, however, they are excellent on the charcoal or propane grill where the casing crisps up. The flavor of these hot dogs is very good and was my mother's favorite choice when we were kids. Next time I will order the skinless.

Check where these are the in the cooler section. I purchased today and hotdogs are used by date September 12, 2026. However, the back is totally broken, and there is watery juice inside, and the end of the hotdog look t Discolored. This may just be an isolated incident, but I wanted to make you aware.
