This whole bean roast ended up making a nice tasty beverage, specifically this vietnamese coffee made a lovely "Cuban coffee". I love whole beans- I can grind them at home for the perfect accuracy in my Moka pot. The roast seemed to be a true light espresso, and didn't have the "scorched" taste that some espresso roast can have. It has a slightly sweet, smooth, taste, almost reminds me of cashew nuts somehow, but more acidic. Honestly, the acidity was the reason it was a 4/5 on flavor but everything else was amazing. Highly recommend, and will be trying other roasts soon!

SaigonDan Passion coffee beans 🫘 are outstanding.This 100% Robusta coffee has a strong, bold taste with hints of chocolate and tobacco. It gives me a nice caffeine kick that actually wakes me up. I’ve used it in my pour-over, espresso machine, and moka pot and it works great every time. It’s perfect for Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk too — the flavor doesn’t get lost. I'm seriously in love with these Harmony beans from SaigonDan. This coffee is so fancy it basically thinks it's royalty — and honestly, it kind of is. The first sip had me smiling like an idiot. It's sweet, super smooth, with this bright citrus pop that makes my taste buds do a little happy dance. The aroma is straight-up luxurious and way different from my usual coffee. No wonder they call it royal coffee! I've been brewing it pour-over style and it comes out ridiculously good every time. Feels like I'm treating myself to something special without leaving the house. Saigondan “Vietnam coffee”from Dan is smooth and delicious, it has tasting notes of milk chocolate and perhaps graham cracker. It can be brewed in a Mr.Coffee for multiple cups while at home or can be brewed as a pour over. Saigondan drink well straight or with a little steamed milk. This is our first taste of Vietnam coffee and I'd say Dan did a great job! Thank you Dan!

To be completely honest. If it wasnt on sale i would not have purchased it due to its price point as there are other options in that price range. With that being said, i purchased 3 different kinds and have tried the “mindful” just now and it HIT. The robusta is strong zing i can feel right away and the flavor is definitely subtle (subtle as in less bitter) with a nice nutty note i've been looking for that i can not find in french press coffees when im making expresso. Im hooked.

Saigondan Vietnamese coffee is absolutely amazing!! I've tried every roast they offer and each is insanely good. Nice, smooth. Exactly how I like my coffee. There's no real bitter taste either.

I really like the light taste and aroma of the beans. It make a tasty beverage and as light roasted beans have more caffeine it also keeps you awake! I enjoy the beverage as an espresso and it's perfectly suited for that.

I was impressed with how smooth this is. I only needed the smallest splash of cream and love that the flavors blend together without being bitter. The smell was amazing from whole bean to ground and then hot brewed. I originally purchased this whole bean so that I could make cold brew at home. I've never made my own cold coffee so it is impossible for me to review this in any way other than hot.

So bland. Not worth the price.
