Saint Gobain ADFORS Small Mosquito and Insect Repellent Screen Roll

I got the Saint-Gobain ADFORS 48in. x 25ft. Charcoal Fiberglass Small Insect Screen Roll to replace some of my old, damaged screens. This is wide enough and long enough to repair several windows and/or doors. I chose this screen because it uses a fine mesh and tight weave, which is meant to keep small insects like no-see-ums, gnats, and mosquitos out. So if it can keep the little bugs out, then it can also keep the larger stink bugs and various beetles that we have issues with in this area out as well. This product is just the screen and doesn't come with the other things needed to install it, but the instructions on the roll explain how to install it and everything I needed to do so, so I made my shopping list and got the other items that I needed. I got the screen fitted to the frame, followed the instructions, and was able to replace the old screens with ease. It is important to keep the screen tight and make a good fit. I like that this has smaller openings to keep the bugs out, but it is still very breathable. I can still look out and light still comes through.

This product has been a life saver for us. We have 2 small dogs and lately, we have had a huge population of Black Vultures make their home in our area. Please believe me when I say they will carry your small pets off. We have seen them attack, kill, and fly off with cats, opossums, groundhogs, and rabbits. We have a dog run for our dogs but it occurred to me that although it protected them from fox and other ground predators, it did not do anything to protect them from predators from above. We attached the fiberglass screening over their run and tied it on with an extremely heavy fishing line! It's super-strong and easy to work with. And their pen is, as you may have guessed, 25' x 48"! We now feel comfortable that our pets are safe from the Vultures. I realize it's the circle of life, but I'm not sure that was supposed to include domesticated pets. Now we can leave our girls outside without having to have them right with us. We can garden, talk to a neighbor, or mow the lawn without worry. Another benefit is the close-knit mesh. It seems to prevent the sun from beating down on the dogs. Also, it doesn't allow for the rain to inundate the girls and we're hoping it will keep snow from accumulating in the pen. We believe the screen is strong enough to hold the snow as long as we don't let it accumulate to more than 12" or so. So, although this may be an unusual use for the product, it shows us how truly versatile it is and we may go ahead and close in our gazebo with it as well.

i had lots of screen repair needed from my patio. i got this because the width was perfect for my size width screens. all i had to do was cut the length. it is easy to cut and didnt fray. the meshing is made tight to keep the bugs out. will defintly buy more .

This is really great heavy duty screen to re-screen your windows and screen doors! The 4 ft roll is huge and will do a LOT of windows. Remember to leave a couple inches of overhang when you initially cut the screen for installation purposes. You can always trim it up afterwards. The best part is it's fiberglass AND it's like a micro mesh to keep gnats and bugs out! That's a win-win!

We enjoy opening windows during the nice spring and fall weather but the gnats and teeny critters coming through the screens have become unbearable. Was sceptical about a "Small Insect screen" but after comparing our current screen to this ADORFS I'm very optimistic after being able to SEE the difference. You can easily see it is a tighter and much thicker weave. I really appreciate the information included with the roll of screen: Company info., website, phone #, address and wonderful instructions for replacing the screen are included on a separate sheet of paper as well as on the screen roll packaging. I am always impressed with a company who offers plenty of information about themselves and their product- and consider that a good sign about their products. Being it's bitter winter & cold here I can't put the screen to the best test now, but I am very optimistic. As we needed new screen, I feel this was a good choice.

Great screen to replace older or damaged screens. Says it keeps out No-See-Ums and the weave looks like it will. It advertises pet resistance which is important in my household. This screen will also block some sun but still provide a view to outside.

I am so excited to get this screen on the door and replace some of our window screens. We have a lot of bugs that still get in the house. The wholes in this screen will help prevent a lot if the bugs getting in! The roll was much bigger than I expected, that’s always a nice surprise! It doesn’t come with any of the tools needed to replace the screen. You will still need to get those.

This screen is extremely good value. It seems to be high-quality.  Removing the old screen, cleaning the frames, and installing the new screen took less than an hour. This is a good option for bug concerns. I can't speak specifically on No see ums, mosquitos are the problem in my area. No complaints so far although I haven't had it a full summer yet.

Wonderful insect screen roll that allows me to cover any holes I have in other screens or to create my own screen door without worries of little bugs and insects sneaking in we do have a major Hornet problem where I live so this screen netting really keeps them out of every nook and cranny of my porch. Great as a DIY project with the family and there's plenty of screen for everybody to use.

I got the 4ft by 25ft roll of fiberglass screening that will be perfect for my front porch/patio area. It has a roof and railing with a hardwood floor, but the bugs eat us up in the summertime, here in the country. This fiberglass screening will keep the smallest insects out, even gnats! So thin and easy to work with. After receiving, I noticed the material will be perfect for replacing a couple of screen windows in one of my rooms. Really, the uses for this are endless. The material is sturdy arnd very strong and seems to be very very light weight and easy to manipulate. Highly recommend. .140 in. Spline recommended. There are even recommended free installation videos with website on the side of the package. Not sure if I can post in the review, but it's there for when you need it after purchase. Don't forget to leave at least 2 inches of extra screen when measuring, very important. Can't wait to be bug free! Definitely a must for summer!
