Sakura Gelly Roll Metallic Gel Pen Collection, 16 Pens Assorted Opaque Colors

They're not cheap but they sure write so good on black paper. I make a lot of card's and people really love my pens. I find some missing sometimes. Writing is so smooth. The ink is vivid.

Plus, there are so many different colors to choose from, all in one package. She's learning to writer her name, so having the glitter in the ink makes her want to use them. Plus, she thinks it's cool when her name is in glitter, ha!

I use these every single day at work, I take a ton of notes and these write so easily. Plus the colors are so pretty. They have a ton of color in them so I think they will last a long time as well.

Other gel pens I've used (either one or all) tend to: 1) get clogged and the ink gets stuck (shaking the pens and/or heating the tips tends to solve the problem - but only temporarily) 2) have colors that aren't as rich 3) scrape the top layer of paper off 4) not color evenly These pens are not guilty of any of that! There is a negative though. The colors aren't bright - they may be rich, but they don't "pop". The best word I can come up with to describe the colors is that they're bland. Still, they won me over with all the other qualities they have.

One of the gold pens was already bad but mid-doodle the other pen went from solid color to cloudy and barely visible. I bought this set SPECIFICALLY to have solid gold gel pens. The silver seems to be staying opaque but it's too early to tell if it will stay so. I'm not optimistic for the rest of the set.
