You cant even tell they are there without shining the light on them. They are perfect for secret notes and drawing a whole new picture on top of an existing one without anyone seeing until you reveal it.

The orange is really vibrant but the green and blue aren't that different and almost just look white when the blue light is on them. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because of the lack of color in the green and blue.

I'm a first grade teacher and I used these with my students and they loved seeing the secret notes! Very fun, but the green and blue colors look the same.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pens write very smooth. I do like how each pen lights up the color it is. However I wish they were a bit more vibrant. I also do like how there's a keychain for the uv light so that it doesn't get lost.
