so I bought these by accident, I thought they were the brush pens, but I'd already opened the package, so I started playing around with them... and I like them better than the brush pens! I sketch almost constantly, and use them for the line variation, not calligraphy purposes. they're really good at that. I can't figure out calligraphy to save my life, but they're just as high quality as my kuretake calligraphy pens that I also don't use for calligraphy. they write smooth on Bristol and my hot press paper, and they have a bit of a learning curve like all pens that are different, but they're quick to pick up, and good quality.

Leaks everywhere, but cannot get a consistent amount of ink out to write with. Just terrible!
