His Oldies Were the Besties!
Intensely gripping! His old books are the best ones - I originally purchased them in hardcover and eagerly read each one. My house was overflowing with books, and when I gave them away to friends and the Salvation Army and Goodwill, I was pleased that others would enjoy them. I am now re-reading his old classics and enjoying them as well today as I did decades ago - wish I could say the same for his newer books..........they are simply not up to his old masterpieces. I do giveaway these paperbacks as well after I enjoy them again.

Classic King with a Dark Tower connection.
One of my favorites by Stephen King. Pretty creepy book that was well written. Hard to believe it was from so long ago but it's still a very good story. The disappearance of Father Callahan left me wondering about his fate, but in The Dark Tower series you see him resurface as far braver and more formidable. His journey was a rough one and a story worth reading. This is easily one of the best vampire books I've read mostly because it's put into a believable scenario on what could happen in a small town if something like this really were to happen. It starts out seemingly light but it all turns bad in a hurry. Classic King novel that every fan needs to own and read.

Vampires, vampires, and more vampires!
This was my first King novel to read after I saw the movie first. I fell in love with Stephen King then. I never missed another one until I had a serious eye problem and could no longer read well. I miss him.
