These are brilliant I have them on my nail's 24/7 they last for up to 14 day's and if I chip one there are spare's to replace that nail I put the miracle Gel top coat over the top, and people always ask what salon I had the done in.
Sally Hanson's salon effects real nail polish strips are very easy to use. They leave a great finish on your nails, there's no cracking, stickiness, and look great. They aren't that difficult to remove, with minimal residue. It's a fun way to get a manicure in minutes.
I've tried the Sally Hansen Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips and they're very easy to apply with great results. They adhere well to the nails, feel comfortable, and give a smooth, salon-like finish. I didn't experience any irritation, and they held up nicely without peeling or excessive wear. A convenient option for a quick and polished manicure at home.
I absolutely love these french manicure kits. I am VERY hard on my nails and hands and no other polish will last as long as this on my natural nail. Plus there is no dry time which is great. I will not lie that it does take time to get them put on. Definitely not a 5 minute job but I would spend that time in the salon if I had acrylics put on so it all equals out and I don't have to make an appointment. I was skeptical at first that they would actually last but they do. I could be wrong but I actually think this polish adds strength to my nails as well. Great product I will definitely continue to buy it. I always keep them in stock at home! Just in case they run out where I usually buy them!
I bought these last minute on my way to a party because the existing nail polish I had on was chipping at the tips I applied the Gold Cabaret on top and it looked super cute, you can put these on top of any other color to create a different mani so the possibilities are endless! They lasted well over a week with absolutely no chipping and only came off because I had to change the polish that was underneath.
I have gone through 5 or 6 boxes of the "French Twist" shade of these Salon Effects and I'm very happy with the look of my nails with these strips. They seem to last 2-3 weeks with minimal chipping and cracking but the shine never seems to fade. The biggest downfall for me is that I have smaller, more narrow nails. Because of this, I usually discard the bigger top coat strips and by the time I get to my pinkies, I only have the smallest one left and it's not quite wide enough to cover my nail. These are some tips I've found helpful: -Plan to spend about 45 minutes applying these. I usually pick an evening when I'm going to be watching TV and I sit in bed and do them. I'm also pretty slow at it because I'm very particular about them looking right. There are enough extra tips that if you mess one up, you can scrape it off quickly with the enclosed cuticle stick and apply a new one. -I don't use the white side of the nail file to smooth them. I usually use my thumb to rub over the tips and top coat strip to make sure they've adhered well. -Place the top coat strip just before the cuticle begins otherwise they won't stick as well. -These sell for almost $12 in my area, so I usually stock up when a drug store has BOGO deals on Sally Hansen products or I have a coupon for Ulta. The picture I have attached is what they look like after one week of wear.
I LOVE these French mani kits! It may take a bit of practice to be able to apply the tips but what I love is the fact that you have time to correct a bad placement - just keep trying until you are satisfied with the result before pressing down "for good"! My favorite color is the silver tips - I applied these last week and I can't tell you how many people complimented me on my nails and wanted to know which salon did them for me! Imagine their surprise when I told them I did them myself! Then I was quick to tell them all about the product! The mani definitely lasts a good ten days or normal wear and tear - I love the fact that I can apply them, have no dry time and they last so long. If anyone balks at the price, remember that they are much less expensive than going to a salon and I think, are well worth the price!
I have tried a bunch of different brands of nail strips and sally hansen is my favorite so far. I work in the medical field and have to wear gloves and wash my hands all the time and these were the only ones that withstood these harsh conditions. I read a tip somewhere online that if you put a base coat polish on first that these will last longer and it's true. Before I saw that tip, I was only able to get 3 days in before one of them pealed off with my gloves. The second time I tried it with the base coat and they lasted all week long. I probably could have put more miles on them, but I was anxious to change the design out for another one I bought.
The French Manicure nail strips are amazing in every way! However, it was difficult to figure out how to apply them correctly. On the other hand, I get so many compliments everywhere I go! People ask me where I get my nails done and when I tell them I purchase the strips at the store and do them at home, they are shocked! They definitely stay on for a long time and I love the french because they always look professional and neat! I will buy these as long as they are being made! LOVE them!
I bought the French manicure kit. This product is great, but takes about 2 hours to get the look you desire. At first, even after reading the directions, I wasn't sure how to use the white tip strips. The instructions don't tell you that there are 2 tips to a strip. Make sure you put all the white strips on first before you open the overlay strips because they dry out quickly. I like the way my nails look because you get very clean lines, as opposed to using the messy white liquid polish with the guides that gives it a jagged line. Just make sure your nails are clean and buff the tops a little with the white side of the file so they stick better. I think it would probably been easier to have someone help because it's hard to do with one hand. So, far, my mani has lasted 2 days and no chips or peeling. It's a good product but wish it came with more strips so that I can use again.
