Part of me didn't want to write this review so I can gate keep but I'm a girls-girl and I had to let yall know…GET IT STOCK UP! the best cleaner for my makeup brushes , smells amazing like white tea….best product compared to the other EXPENSIVE brands I used to use. This is a must have for my makeup girlies
This brush cleaner is amazing. I barely have to dip my makeup brush into the cleaning solution and it gets absorbed quickly. The product melts away the make up. I bought two more bottles just to have on hand before it sells out. Thanks to Nina Pool I found this!
This product is incredible. It cleans all my brushes like new. I tend to be lazy about cleaning my brushes, and since I wear makeup every day, this task can feel overwhelming. I love this product because with just a few swipes, my brushes are clean and ready for use. The only downside is that I don't like the smell, as it has a very chemical scent. I wish they would add a fragrance; then this product would be perfect, in my opinion.
This product does exactly what it says. it would be very good for makeup artists who are on the go and have to clean their brushes a lot, but for your house. I don't know if you have enough of them. You can just rotate them out. You're not really worried about sanitation. When you're in your own house, not as much as A makeup artist, but it's a very good product.
I can't believe I found a makeup brush product that does not require rinsing. Cleaning makeup brushes can be a huge chore sometimes however, with this product, all you need to do is dip it inside the product and then dab it on a towel and it's completely clean. Love it.
I never review products but the fact that I barely have to dip my brush into the solution and it gets cleaned completely and QUICKLY??!!! I need to stock up! Smells good, and performs better than cinema secrets imo and its less than half the cost. 1000/10!
So I realized that this product has to be a product that going into it if you have never washed your makeup brushes, you will likely use the entire bottle the first time but upkeep is easier. Also for me and it may not work for everyone with an ADHD brain that literally forgets to wash the brushes until I have to use them…. It dries soooo fast!! It's worth if for me to feel like that's not the reason why I break out because I don't from the makeup from anymore… but for your first time definitely recommend getting two bottles to do a reset on your brush cleaning schedule if you didn't have one prior
I don't understand how this product works, but it works exceptionally well and a little goes a long way. I took off one star because the packaging is diabolical. I had to use scissors and brute strength to get it out of the box and then had to scrape away two very strong glue dots on the bottom. I am neither elderly nor infirm and the struggle was real. The product itself is great, though.
This stuff works exactly as described, but make sure you let the brushes air out in an open area, b/c in a small space (a normal to smallish sized bathroom) the smell is INTENSE. It doesn't necessarily stink, but it's a strong chemical smell that made me cough. Actually the smell was strongest on the cleaning cloth, so that's what needs to be put elsewhere most, but putting the brushes in a sunny kitchen window for an afternoon will take care of them just fine.
I really wish I had researched the ingredients before purchasing. I looked up eco friendly products for makeup brush cleaners and this came up so I figured since it said no rinse, that it used an oil to break down the product on the brushes. No, it uses a chemical solvent that smells like gasoline and does not break down and is highly flammable and toxic to marine life. Also I only poured a little onto a sponge and that gave me a headache, so I would not recommend. The isoalkane does most definitely get rid of anything on the brush though but I think I would prefer using vinegar or baking soda. Now this will sit in the cabinet unused for eternity because I'm not pouring it down the drain. Also, I wouldn't recommend pouring onto anything that's going to touch your face without rinsing/cleaning before using.
