[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a GREAT base! I have some pretty gnarly ridges on a few of my nails and this filled them in perfectly. It cured in no more than 60 seconds. Just be sure you read the directions and apply a thin coat only - it's all you'll need! So far, it has proven to be a very durable base.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a solid drugstore priced builder gel! I love the brush applicator. So much easier than thicker builder gels. Prep is super important, so make sure to do that before using this product. It self levels really well and is good to add some structure and support to your natural nails rather than doing extensions. Great for DIY gel manis!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My nails are complete trash. Nail polish chips off them in a day or two regardless of how professional they are done. But this… this is the stuff. It is a pen style that you twist the base to push product out and then you paint it on and cure it. It was super easy to apply and gave me a nice base for my nail polish. I've had this glitter on for a week now and it's like I just did it yesterday. I would highly recommend
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The strength of the gel builder bond was very strong unlike any other . I polished my nails with this base coat cured it with uv light and choose a polish next and it actually stayed on. The removal process was surprisingly easy to take off considering the strength of base coat.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this gel builder base coat for a while and I’m really impressed with the results. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, and it self-levels nicely without feeling too thick. Ir provides good adhesion and helps my manicure last longer without lifting. The coverage is even and gives a clean, professional finish. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it can feel slightly thick if you apply too much, so you have to work in thin layers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Salon Perfect SP One Step Gel Builderbond Base Coat was sent to me complimentary in exchange of an honest review. At first I thought I was given an empty product because I was twisting the bottom for a while and nothing was coming out. But after a while I noticed the gel starting to come out of the tip of the brush. This base coat was super easy to use. Just a few swipes and it applied easily. You can leave your nails with a natural look with just this base coat. It leaves a nice glossy look to it or you can top it off with your favorite nail polish. Overall it was an easy product to use, you just need some patience when you first start using it and twist the bottom enough times before the gel starts to come.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is some pretty good stuff! I had never used gel nail polish before so this is my first time. I went and bought a lamp for it and everything. So far I'm using it alone to strengthen my very thin, brittle nails and it works really well. Stays on a long time and makes them look tidy and polished.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice basecoat to strength your nails and smoothe them out before applying a color. I left my nails without color and the basecoat made them look strong and shiny! I like the pen like applicator too!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like gel nails and occasionally use gel at home, so I would still list myself in the novice gel category. I'm a tired, dehydrated mom of 2 so my nails are the same. I have a decent amount of ridges but few that are too deep. This structure gel base coat by salon perfect was very easy to use. I did have to spin the click bottom a LOT initially to get the product started first try. Comes on thick, I cured for about 70 seconds. It suggests to wipe off with acetone for a natural strengthened look, which I did. I did not feel like it disguised enough of my ridges. My nail does feel firmer and smooth though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was an okay product to use. It took some getting used to. At first I thought I had a defective product and turned it maybe 30 times and nothing came out. I waited in between turns thinking it might ooze, eventually it did and it was a lot. I ended up having enough for one hand and then some. I wish there were directions with how many primer turned you'd need before use. My nails are smooth except for my ring and pinky on my left hand, no idea why. It did fill the ridges somewhat in the first coat but definitely needed two coats to fill the ridges there. After that I think the shiny finish was nice! I decided to wear only the product to test it properly and I had no issues with my nails after curing and a quick wipe. I did check the pen later and noticed the product was still oozing from the brush down the pen which I didn't love and I'm not sure if the pen would still be useable months from now, something to keep in mind. Other than that I think it's okay, could definitely use a few development changes.
