Salton Cordless Jug Kettle 1.7 Liter, JK1199, Black

This Salton Cordless Jug Kettle of 1.7 litre size is so simple to use!. Just add water and flip the switch to boil in seconds. The kettle switches off automatically when it's finished boiling. I luv the cordless convenience! I really like this feature also that the Stainless steel heating element resists corrosion and mineral build-up! In this way I know my boiled water is always clean.

Works great and looks attractive on the counter. My teenagers can make there own Raman noodles and hot chocolate and I don't have to worry about them burning the house down.

I bought this recently because my other one, who's brand shall remain nameless had a frayed cord after only a few months use. I like this because it's cordless and heats very quickly

It's bigger than my last one but very convenient that the kettle comes off the base so there's no cords attached

I just love this little kettle it heats up so fast definitely a purchase that I am quite pleased with

This kettle has been a good purchase. It works very well, has a good capacity, and best of all the cord mechanism is separate. This is terrific so you can "leave the cord behind" when actually pouring from or filling the kettle. The automatic shutoff works well, and I like that there's a button to turn the kettle on or off, with a light that indicates it is "on". My only complaint is that the lid fits a little too tightly and sometimes it's a little difficult to open.

A friend has the identical kettle and it works great so I purchased it for the camp/cottage (used intermittently).

I purchased this for a Christmas present and it doesn't work so now I have to return it and get another one. I hope that the return will be easy.

Kettle caught fire. This was the second Salton kettle that broke down but seeing the kettle on fire was scary.

Rusting badly on heating element in 3 months. rusting particles are accumulating at the bottom of the kettle. Too bad I lost the receipt, can't return it anymore.
