Salton Digital Air Fryer XL 5L

We were excited to open our XL Salton Air Fryer and it did not disappoint ! Over three days we have made "breakfast for dinner" - Hash Brown Patties and then Breakfast Sausages - all came out wonderful and the Sausages had no greasy taste. Day Two and three were Chicken Wings - restaurant quality !! and Day three was reheating leftovers. Cleanup was a breeze and the instructions are intuitive. I'm usually not a fan of additional countertop appliances but on a recommendation picked up one of these and we are very pleased with it. Like all other Salton products - good quality, well made and reliable.

I resisted getting an air fryer for so long, thought it was all hype. It's not! I love this and use it practically every day now. Food crisps up better than the oven, and I now even use this to reheat certain foods. It takes a couple minutes longer than a microwave, but your food doesn't taste like cardboard after. Also, it's super easy to clean. Love, love, love!

I've been hearing about air frying for a while and thought i'd give it a try. I bought a Salton AF2085 air fryer and now i wonder how i ever managed without this amazing addition to my kitchen. Chicken nuggets cooked to perfection in little time. Fried chicken, crispy on the outside while tender and juicy on the inside. All this in less time than in an oven. The real treat with this air fryer is when reheating food. Requires a little more time than you would a microwave, but the results will leave you convinced it's time to give the microwave a rest.

We really love this little fryer and give it a two thumbs up for great crispy results, especially fries and wings!!! We just have one issue after using the unit for a little over 3 weeks. The non-stick coating is coming off the frying rack in two places. The coating on the rack is not smooth and is slightly bubbly in spots. It looks like it wasn't properly baked on, I am not sure. Other than that we're very happy with it.

We bought this air fryer on Black Friday and were very happy with it. But the coating on the frying rack is starting to peel off despite following the cleaning instructions. I see there are 2 other recent reviews reporting the same issue.

Great for fast cooking, but the cook tray is peeling. Got it just before Christmas. Not happy about this. I would not recommend this to anyone, unless you produce a better tray. Too expensive for this to happen. 2 stars for quality. 5 stars for cook performance.

I got this during a boxing week sale last year and it worked great for the first while. It's been approximately 6 months and the non stick coating is coming off of the rack in the tray. This basket and rack has been hand washed only. I must say though that I am quite disappointed! I don't want to use this machine anymore now that the coating is flaking off. I don't need that in my food!

Lasted 2 years, did receive the replacement tray, but it made no difference, the fan stopped working after 2 years of reasonable use, found it impossible to completely clean the tray and removable parts, this was a waste of airmiles, do not buy.

Just like many other reviews, I also experienced then non-stick coating coming off. Can't find a replacement anywhere. Waste of money since the whole unit can't be used now.

I cashed in my Air Miles to get this fryer. I moved shortly after receiving it and it's been unopened for a year, until now. And it doesn't work. I get an E1 on the screen but no way to figure out what this means or how to remedy it, if that's even possible.
