Salton Portable Cooktop Double - Black

I couldn't be more pleased with this little cooktop. I purchased it when we were having trouble with our electricity and both our built-in oven and stovetop were not working. It performs very well. It is a little tricky to clean, as other reviewers have mentioned, but so far we've been able to maintain it. Even now that our electrical problem has been solved, we've been told to refrain from using both oven and stovetop at the same time. Not a problem, I just pull out this little baby and we are back in business. Money well-spent.

Highly recommended, fits great on my countertop, love the rubber grip legs, keeps from sliding, however you need to be careful with pots or frying pans potentially sliding off the burner with heavier or wider pots or frying pans. Heats up fast and evenly, easy to use and clean. Perfect for small spaces. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and glad I researched the wattage, works great :)

I've used it for cooking regular meals for two people for a month now. It works just as intended. It is light, so it's easy to carry around and put away when not in use.

So far I haven't had any problems with the Salton Coooktop. My only issue with it, is the same as the last one I had. Due to the way it is designed, you can't lift the coils up to clean underneath, unlike a regular stove, which is very inconvenient.

I have been using this for 2 weeks now. It's a life saver when appliance back ordered. A bit slower than regular stove but gets the job done. Difficult to clean the drip plates because the burners are not removable.

It's very light but still okay to use

Plates are not good to cook the soups or pasta it just okay for tea and boil the eggs
