I bought this for my senior dog who has elevated liver enzymes and is on meloxicam for arthritis. After only a week her blood work has improved; I give her 1 tablet/day of the 200 mg. We do follow-up blood work in 6 months so I'm curious to see her numbers. Until then, all seems good - running around and playing like a puppy.

I have a senior dog with monthly prescriptions. I learned SAMe was the generic version of Denamarin and couldn't believe the cost difference - a range of 50-7% cheaper!!!! Every month I would have to search the internet for the cheapest version (don't get the same discount from the same place - it changes every month). Denamarin sells 30 pills for $32-$40 a month. SAMe sells 60 pills for $16.99 - WOW just WOW!!! There is a dosage difference but I checked with my vet and because of the size of my dog could easily use SAMe 200 mg vs. Denamarin 225 mg. I love the fact I can save on a regular basis and not get taken advantage of.

This was prescribed for my dog who has a form of Cushing Disease, which affects the liver. SAMe helps produce and regulate hormones to treat liver disease. My dog has not had any side effects and eats the pill with her food, and seems to be helping with the side effects of this disease.

I first purchased the capsules but this time tried the enteric tablets. This is just as effective but I think the capsules are absorbed more quickly. Great price for a good product.

It's good stuff. I use it for occasional depression. But these particular pills are pretty big. It is a very good buy.

They are asking me to review this product within 2 weeks of receiving it. Ummm ... Okaaayyyy. Swallowing... Take with liquid and swallow. Everybody is different, however, I don't have issues with taking pills. Change... It's been 2 weeks, need at least 45 to 60 days to notice a change. Packaging.... It comes in a bottle that's sealed. I don't care what the label looks like. The rest of the packaging gets thrown away. Effectiveness.... Same answer as change. Health... Same answer as change. This may seem like I'm being very crass, however, I honestly don't think that one can give an honest answer about how a supplement has changed your life, health or is effectiveness in a 2-week time. Check back with me in 2 months.

I really cannot speak about the product it self, at this time, since I haven't had it long enough to value it's effectiveness. But, I have a minor comment about the distributor: 1) There was no indication of delivery time. I had to just wait for the delivery to find out. 2) No e-mailed invoice. 2) All e-mails to the company were not responded too. 3) When I called the response was - it must have went into your junk mail - defensive. I doubt if I will order from them again.

Pass on these. No noticeable change. Spring Valley brand works so much better.
